Today I am delighted to share a few novellas to let you slip away during the busy holiday season. We all know how crazy this time of year is, and sometimes we long to read just a few chapters. Each of these novellas will allow you a brief escape into some of your favorite worlds. From historical romance to urban fantasy there is something for everyone. I have Tessa Dare, Emma Chase, Darynda Jones and Aubrey Wynne. …
Sweet Potato Casserole & What Happens Under the Mistletoe
Today I am sharing Sweet Potato Casserole & What Happens Under the Mistletoe . This scrumptious casserole dish is one that I serve for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is to die for. It’s like dessert for dinner. Years and years ago when I worked in the corporate world we use to have pot lucks, and a gentleman from the IT department brought in this dish, and then was gracious enough to share the recipe. I will forever be thankful. Enjoy and be sure to check out my thoughts on What Happens Under the Mistletoe, this month’s book recommendation.
Fated by Sarah Fine
Fated by Sarah Fine is the final book in the Servants of Fate series. I listened to this series and loved the world and characters. This series was my first experience with Sarah Fine but rest assured we have begun a long-term relationship and I am eager to listen to her previously published books and the new ones yet to come. Brilliant, gut wrenching and action packed Fine did not hold back and Fated packed a punch.
Snowbound at Christmas by Debbie Mason
Snowbound at Christmas by Debbie Mason is the fifth book in the Christmas, Colorado series but do not let that stop you from picking it up. I have not read the earlier novels and Mason tells a suspenseful, romantic tale with colorful characters set against the Colorado snow-filled countryside.
Witch Wood by Melanie Karsak
Witch Wood by Melanie Karsak is a novella in the Harvesting series, a zombie infested fantasy series I have come to love. It is highly original with magic and twists that keep me flipping the pages and eager for more. Witch Wood is also the first in the Witching Collection and at first; I wondered how it would tie into the Harvesting world. All I can say is that it does and it is bloody brilliant.
