It was a quiet week with the Royals in school. Hazel and I kept busy. On Tuesday, my husband took the day off and we went out for lunch. On Thursday, we went out for burgers with our adult children and Hazel. It was nice getting everyone together for a non-event. The weather continues to be cool with plenty of rain. Stay Caffeinated.

A quiet week sounds good! I hope the Royals are having a great beginning of school and I’m sure Hazel is loving the one on one time. I have Haunted Ever After on my TBR. I’m so excited to read it! I hope you’re having a great week!

I’m glad you had a good week and that you got to spend time with your adult children and Hazel. The weather is a bit cooler where I am too due to a lot of rain and hail. Have a great week!

It’s hard to think about Ho Ho Ho right now but I know you want to give everyone time to get it on their calendars. I’m not ready for summer to end. I keep looking at Apprentice to the Villain but I’m a little afraid that I’ll get it confused with Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots, just based on the name. Enjoy your week!

Nice to have a quiet week after your busy summer! And a get-together with your children “just because,” instead of for a special event. That’s one of the things I miss with not having family nearby.

Have a good week, and have fun reading those new arrivals!

My TTT post (since it takes a while for it to update so it shows on the “click here” widget)

Glad to see the weather is cooling down for you we are still warm in the 90’s here. We did have a storm roll through last night but it was mostly windy with some thunder booms but i don’t think it rained at all. Kiddo has just finished his summer class for college so now he just relaxing tell fall quarter starts in late september.

I get it. It was originally bloggers who took part, and it allowed them to read books for December posts on their blogs. But it’s now mostly readers and bookstagrammers now.

It’s been raining her in Illinois too. My tomatoes are splitting from all the rainfall! So nice that you had some relaxed family time. We started school on Friday, so tomorrow begins our first full week!

My week was quiet as well. A lunch date is the perfect way to start a day. It’s nice the family got to be all together, too. Happy reading, Kimberly. 😊📚🌻

  8. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Sounds like a nice week! We have moved back to sweltering temperatures and I am hating it! Lol. Upper 90s to start then through in the humidity and we’re topping triple digits on the heat index. Ready for fall in October*, that’s for sure! Our fall never starts when it’s supposed to and we’re lucky if it starts early October, but usually it’s late October! Lol.

Nice new reads! I am excited for this book in Kim’s series! I still need to read last year’s book, a fact I am ashamed to admit! Also really curious about Haunted Ever After! Look forward to your thoughts on that one!

    Happy Reading!
