The kids went back to school on Thursday. Both were excited to begin the new school year. Poor Hazel is beside herself and wants to know where the kids are. Thankfully, she gets to see them after school. I watched the new season of Lincoln Lawyer, The Witcher, and Sweet Magnolias. We are almost done season 5 of Endeavour on Prime and plan to start Good Omens season 2. Stay Caffeinated.

I really liked Resonance Surge and Only Good Enemies. Hope the kids are happy at school. We still have summer break until the end of August.
Katherine
Poor Hazel! Hopefully she’ll get used to the school schedule soon and maybe even start enjoying her time on her own. Enjoy your reading and have a great week!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Poor Hazel! But I’m sure she’ll get used to the older kids’ schedule in time. I hope they enjoy the school year and don’t bring home too many “bugs!”
We just started watching Good Omens (season 1). It’s really good!
Ethan
I definitely forgot that school was starting again. Our backyard backs up to the local middle school, so I was surprised at the sudden activity and increased traffic in the neighborhood.
Joanne
Back to school? Early, isn’t it? Where I am Carnival just wrapped and children are enjoying the post-Carnival part of ‘summer’.
Someone just mentioned “Sweet Magnolias” to me. I thought they were talking about “Steel Magnolias” at first. There is so much TV these days whole shows come and go without me realizing they were even there (Endeavour?). I have heard about Lincoln Lawyer and Good Omens, and did watch part of season 1 of The Witcher. Hope you’re enjoying.
Mary Kirkland
I need to watch the new season of The Witcher and Linkcoln Lawyer. My grandson went back to school last week too.
Jinjer
Ok you’re the second person in a week to mention Lincoln Lawyer so I guess I need to get on that.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Kids are already back at school! Wow! We have teachers back this week, and then next week, the 23rd, all students will be back. Hope you have a good week!
Jen | Book Den
I think the only thing we are watching right now is Ted Lasso.
Cindy Davis
Congratulations on blogging 12 years, that’s impressive! I hope you enjoy your new books. Have a great week!
Meezan
I don’t subscribe to Netflix, but The Witcher and Sweet Magnolias both sound good. Have a great week! 🙂
Nicci @The Lady Never
There’s so many shows I need to catch up on… I probably wont get the chance until my son is back at school in 3 weeks or so!! 🙁
Hope you have a good week!

Back to School has to be excellent for you and you still get to see them a lot. Poor Hazel.

Have a good week.
Samantha
I watched season 2 of the Lincoln Lawyer as well. I really enjoy that show!
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
I’m binging NCIS, though I’ve seen it before. I started a rewatch with my daughter when she was home from uni. I’ve also been watching Star Trek: Strange Worlds, and have a ton of others on my watchlist, including The Lincoln Lawyer.
Wishing you a great reading week
Laura Thomas
I watched Lincoln Lawyer too. Need to get caught up on Sweet Magnolias.
Sophia Rose
Yay for back to school though I can see how poor Hazel is a tad confused. 🙂 We’ve got until after Labor Day until the kids around here go back. I need to catch up on Endeavour.
Have a great week, Kimberly!

It’s great that you already have the first “week” of school completed and the kids are not back to their usual schedule. Happy Blogoversary! 12 years is such an accomplishment!
Emma @ Words And Peace
congrats on your upcoming blogiversary!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
It’s so weird how back to school time seems to be starting earlier and earlier! I feel like there were only a few years when we started at the beginning of September before moving into late August now it’s mid August!
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

I rarely ever watch TV but I made an exception this week and watched 4 episodes of the new Heartstopper season. It’s the only reason I keep Netflix. lol
BonnieReadsAndWrites
I decided to watch Season 1 of Lincoln Lawyer again before I watch Season 2 because I can’t really remember what happened, I hope you have a great week!
Juli @ A Universe in Words
I hope the kids have a good start to school! I also still need to catch up on the last season of The Witcher, thanks for reminding me! I hope you have a lovely week 🙂

I do need to get started on Good Omens though I want to read the books first.. and it is going to back to school soon for my kids too (though one is a high-schooler and another in college!)
Sophie
I think summer holiday is flying by so fast Kimberly! I hope you’ll enjoy a Good Omen! I had some screen time last week as well, and that’s unsual for me 😉
Mark
I still can’t quite adjust to school starting so early in the year. I should at least be the end of August, not the first half.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
Poor Hazel! I feel like at the end of summer both the kids and I were ready for them to go back to school. For like a hot minute…lol. I need to watch The Lincoln Lawyer. I have Burning Justice too, the e-copy. Maybe I can get the audio as well. 🙂
Jill
Wow, back to school already! This summer flew!

Hope you have a nice weekend Kimba!
