Eighties all week & the kids I were in shorts & flip-flops, then Friday night things turned cold with thunderstorms all weekend. Thing are in full bloom here, but the week ahead looks like mother nature cannot decide. We had a lovely night out last weekend for our anniversary. As always, Stay Caffeinated.

80s here as well. So glad you had a nice anniversary out!
Katherine
We are in pollen season right now which I am not enjoying but am enjoying seeing all the green and flowers. I’m not quite ready to trust mother nature yet either though! I hope you’re having a wonderful week!
Mary Kirkland
Happy anniversary. It’s been in the 80’s here as well. Summer is here.
Alicia
The weather was all over the place here too. Warm over the Easter weekend and the beginning of the week and gloomy and rainy by the middle of the week.
MarthaE
I’m glad your weather is getting nice and your flowers are blooming.
I didn’t know the Red Rising series was continuing. Guess I will have to go listen to Iron Gold and Dark Age so I can get to this one.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!

Hope you have a great week ahead!

Happy to hear you had a nice anniversary. I am hoping soon the weather will even out!

Wow! A week for shorts! It was like that for one brief moment here and then back to being a week where I wonder if spring is here yet..
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
The 80s! Wow! Mr. Bookwyrm tells me it was in the mid-80s at home, too. I’m in NM helping my parents, and it’s been in the 50s and 60s in their high-mountain town. Lucky me — I’m getting spring twice this year!
I hope you and Mr. Caffeinated had a wonderful anniversary — and many more to come!

The weather has been pretty crazy where we are too! Let’s hope that Mother Nature makes up her mind soon! Also, I’m really looking forward to that new Red Rising book!

Yesterday, I was outside in shorts. Today, I wore a coat to walk the dogs. Crazy! I need to get caught up with the Pierce Brown series but I am still excited to see a new book coming soon.

We are up and down, too, but we’re starting to get more consistently warmer temps. All the spring trees and flowers are blooming and so far my allergies have been behaving. Hopefully it stays that way. Have a great week! π

It sounds like a great week. The weather is definitely more up and down than in some years. It’s been colder or hotter in turns. It’s only been raining here on the weekends though. Seriously.
Cindy Davis
The weather has been strange here as well (Ohio). It’s 76 right now but storms are rolling in. The high tomorrow and Tuesday are in the 40s and we have a chance for some flurries! I kind of thought spring was here to stay. Have a great week, I hope you enjoy all of these!
Sophia Rose
Similar weather here. I’ve kept cool weather and warm weather clothes ready and I hope the plants survive the weather swings. I wondered if you’d snag that latest Pierce Brown. π
Have a good week, Kimberly!

Glad the weather was kinder to you than it was for us this Easter break! But I find it hard to wrap my head around the temperature swings you folks have to deal with… I hope the coming week isn’t too chilly and miserable and brings lots of good reads for you too, Kimberly:)).
A Voracious Reader
Beautiful week in Ohio, too. But temps dropping again this week. All those people I saw at the greenhouse buying up plants gonna be sorry they jumped the gun. In NC, we won’t be getting so chilly. Thank goodness. I hope you have a fantabulous week, Kim!
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
I didn’t know there was a new one in the Dark Rising series – I’ll be looking to read it!

That cover of Light Bringer is amazing!

Typical April weather around here. During the day it can be quite warm, but the nights are chilly *sigh* Glad you could enjoy your anniversary. Have a wonderful new week.

Happy anniversary!! We also had amazing weather this week and now it’s more spring than summer like. I’m okay with that. π Though I’m looking forward to summer now!
Rejitha
Sounds like you had a good time with family. That is always great. The Angel Maker sounds like something my sister would enjoy. I am noting it down to refer it to her.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Yeah sounds like our week weather wise. It was nice then the storms came and got significantly colder! So basically typical weather for us! Lol. Glad you had a nice night out for your anniversary!
Nice new read! I never did get into this series. But I hope you positively love this one!
Here’s my StS

And how was your health this week? Because you had the grandkids so I hope you felt better! Also you have Lightbringer already? Sooo lucky!!!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
We’re having similar ups and downs with our weather. It was beautiful the last few days, but it’s supposed to be cold and rainy next week.
Lover of Romance
Yay for warm weather! For the most part we had pretty warm days in the 60’s so it was super nice, considering our temps laterly have been 30-40’s the past few weeks haha I hope you get some great books read this week!!!
joanne
Caribbean person here and it’s been hot here, too hot for April. Dreading summer. Tonight’s cool though; even had a little rain earlier.
Lori Caswell
Beautiful week here too. Snow in the forecast for Monday. Mother Nature needs to get it together LOL
I hope you have a wonderful week!

Glad you had a nice anniversary! π It was 80 here today and I actually had to tur the air on for a while. Temps are supposed to plummet tomorrow though or the next day *sigh*
Hope you’re having a nice weekend π
