Back to school was a success but Hazel & Sophia still have coughs and congestion. It doesn’t help that it’s been in the 90s for days. It was so weird not having Clayton here during the school day. He loves kindergarten. Wednesday I had the day to myself and got a lot of work done. I even wrote two reviews. Maybe I will actually get the ten reviews I need to write written next week!! It would be wonderful to be caught up. I will let ya know how I make out. This past week was my eleven year blogoversary. Stay Caffeinated.

It must have felt good to have a day to yourself. My grandson starts school in September, so I won’t have my grandma and Petey days anymore, I will miss them for sure. Congratulations on your blogoversary, Kimberly. Eleven years, WOW! Enjoy your week and good luck on those reviews. I also have ten to write and hope to get to them this week as well.

  2. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

Congratulations on your blogoversary! I’ve been along for most of that time, and I’m continually impressed by your stamina and dedication. Sunday Post has been a godsend for keeping up with many of my blogging friends (yourself most definitely included!), so I also thank you for hosting it all these years.

Also, yay for getting a little caught up! I hope the kids feel better soon. And I hope you’re able to catch up on your reviews.

Our schools don’t go back until day after Labor Day, but I have seen lots of Back to School buying and activities. Fun that you’re getting lots done and the kids are enjoying days back.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

Happy Blogoversary! My grands don’t go back to school until end of the month.

Sending you good vibes to get those reviews written.

I need to check out your review of Salt and Sugar because I want to read that one. Sorry about the cough still hanging around. It is hard to deal with being sick in this heat I’m sure! Hope you get some blogging done. I have been behind on that and reading since I got started back to school, or at least teachers back to school. Last week was my 13th blogoversary! So happy blogoversary to you too!

The middle of August seems so early for back to school – feels like we’re just settling into summer here in Seattle. Schools around here usually start right after Labor Day. I’m off to check a couple of your reviews – looks like some good thriller covers I’m eager to see. And congrats on 11 years! I’ve only been going about 3 so I have a ways to go! Have a great upcoming week!

  7. Jodie @ That Happy Reader

Happy blogoversary! I didn’t realize The Lost and Found Bookshelf was part of a series that included Sugar and Salt. Nice to know! The Beachside Bed and Breakfast sounds good! Happy reading!

  9. Sophie

Happy blogoversary Kimberly! Eleven years is amazing! Also you have the empty nest syndrom it seems LOL But yes, it’s good for your productivity. I hope everyone’s cold disappears and that you’ll all be full of energy!

  10. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Glad the first day of school went well, despite the coughs! Yeah, our temps are still pretty high too, though I think this week we’re dropping down the mid-high 80s which is about 10-15 degrees cooler than normal, so I’ll take it! Lol.

    Happy bleated Blogoversary!

Nice new reads too! Those are some new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

Congratulations on your blogaversary! I have to write reviews fairly soon after I finish reading the book or I just can’t find anything to say – I hope you get caught up soon.

  13. Lola

I am sorry to hear that Hazel & Sophia still have coughs and congestion, hopefully they both feel better soon. That’s great Clayton is enjoying kindergarten. And yay for getting two reviews written. Hopefully you can get the rest done next week. I hope you’ll have a great week!

  14. Emily @Budget Tales Book Blog

I hope the coughs clear up soon. I will be on my own during the day when my son starts school. He hasn’t done nursery or anything so it will be really strange. I think I will feel it more than him though as he has had a couple of taster days and keeps asking to go back! My plan is to tidy the house and read!

    Happy 11 year blogoversary!
