Our windows were installed on Tuesday & Wednesday. They look nice and we can feel a difference already, so we should be warmer this winter. Of course, none of our window blinds fit the new ones, so we have some shopping to do. I feel like we are in a fishbowl. Thankfully, it is summer and the trees help on the upper level. Saw the specialist for my Crohn’s Disease and will start IV treatments for 2 hours every eight weeks. Since I won’t have Nonna duty this weekend, I am hoping to read, write reviews and watch some Strangers Things. The family is coming on Monday for a cook out but otherwise we are chilling at home. Stay cool, stay healthy and Stay Caffeinated.

New windows make such a huge difference! We had them installed when we moved into our house a couple of years ago, and I was amazed at how much more constant the temperature stays.

Having new windows makes such a difference on a house! Looks and feel. Hope you have a nice 4th of July, Kimberly! I need to do my mid-year audio check in post! I’m so behind… I’ll try and get it posted tomorrow. 🙂

I hope your IV treatments help you. And I’m glad you like your windows. The 4th is just another day only with sound effects here. Spent most of my life having a huge party at my parents because my dad’s birthday was on the 5th. So now it’s just nothing. I did get hot dogs to air fry. Haha. I finished watching The Umbrella Academy last night and then watched all of the last two Stranger Things. Both were good I thought. Have a good 4th with your family.

Have fun shopping for your window treatments.
I hope the IV treatments are helpful.
    Enjoy Monday with your family.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!

I hope your treatments give you some relief from Crohn’s. New windows will help a lot, it seems they are always finding ways to make them more efficient!

A quiet weekend for us too ahead of an extended family get-together tomorrow. We have a huge chance of rain though. Fingers and toes crossed it holds off because I really want to see everyone.

Have a great day tomorrow and a great week.

Yay for new windows. We immediately felt a difference int he house with ours after they were installed Feb 1st. Good luck finding blinds. I’m still trying to find them for all of my windows. Hopefully they’re back in stock again. I haven’t checked in about a month. I still need 3 I think and the kitchen window is an odd dimension so…sigh.

I hope the new treatment helps and any side effects are negligible.

I hope your new windows keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

    Enjoy your week!

Have a lovely long weekend! My son is being tested for crohns disease at the moment (he has celiac disease too) so I need to read up on it x

Yay for new windows and an excuse to go shopping! LOL! I would definitely want them fast though, summer heat without coverings for the windows :/

I hope the infusion treatments help your Chron’s – 2 hours every 8 weeks doesn’t sound too bad, if it really helps!

Have a good time with the family tomorrow and enjoy your weekend!

  12. Jessica @ a GREAT read

New windows sound nice! Hope they work perfectly for the winter months! Hope your treatments go well too!

Nice new reads! I also got Eclipse the Moon! Debating about getting the digital offering of Chloe Neill’s book. I just don’t do well with ebooks anymore, so there are times I’d just rather wait to get the real book. Hope you enjoy all your new reads!

That’s nice you got your new windows and hopefully you can get some new blinds soon as well. Hopefully the treatments will help for your Crohn’s Disease. I hope you have a fun cook out on Monday!

  14. Sophie

I hope your treatment will help with your Crohn disease Kimberly. Also good luck on hunting for blinds!

  15. Laurel-Rain Snow

Oh, I hope you get your new window coverings soon! I hate that fishbowl feeling.

Enjoy your festivities on the Fourth…and good luck with the treatment.

I hope your treatments go well, and are helpful in reducing your symptoms. And congratulations on the new windows!

The Chloe Neill book looks good. I haven’t tried her yet, but I think I have one or two of her books in my Kindle library.
