Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel

I loved the world building and secondary characters in Dearly, Departed and despite some issues I was looking forward to book two. I hoped Dearly, Beloved would deliver and instead it left me with mixed feelings. I truly struggled with this book and its six points of view. I read this over the course of three days and often felt disconnected. There were aspects I loved, and others that had me frustrated.

San Diego 2014: The Last Stand of the California Browncoats

The Newsflesh trilogy is hands down one of my favorite series. Filled with zombies and complex lovable characters it is a series I will re-read again and again. When I learned through Bea@ Bea’s Book Nook that this novella was available I immediately hit the click, confirm, buy button on my Nook Tablet. This tale takes place at Comic- Con in San Diego in the year 2014. It tells the tale of one of the largest Kellis-Amberlee outbreaks. I loved every, freaky, horrible detail of this tragic event.

I loved this steampunk zombie novel, featuring the feisty, sleuth protagonist Eleanor Fitt. I easily finished this novel in two evenings and look forward to reading more.

She shares with us the tale of six students who seek shelter in their high school. Its the Breakfast Club meets Zombie apocalypse and I totally loved it.

World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks

My friend Pabkins @My Shelf Confessions recently reviewed World War Z. I should add that this was like her eighth time reading the novel. It is one of her absolute favorites. I asked her if she had read The Passage by John Cronin.( One of my favorite post-apocalyptic novels.) The end result- We challenged each other to read and review the others favorite book. I am delighted to say that I absolutely loved this …
