See Me by Nicholas Sparks is a romantic suspense that is heavy on the suspense, but offers up a sweet romance with character growth for our somewhat gruff but likeable hero. Narrated by Christopher Ryan Grant See Me began slowly and had a few bumps but ultimately was a listen that kept me engaged.

Illusion by J.S. Cooper is the first novel in the Swept Away series. It is a mix of romance and suspense as it follows Bianca London who is kidnapped and marooned on a deserted island with a stranger. Heated and laced with mystery Illusions was an interesting story with a lot of potential.
