I was drawn to The Binding by Bridget Collins for it’s gorgeous cover and promising premise. Collins introduces us to the binding of memories and the damage forgetting painful memories or worse precious ones can do.
Undone By You Kate Meader
Undone By You Kate Meader is the third book in the Chicago Rebels contemporary romance series surrounding three sisters and the hockey team they own and love. Undone By You shares the story of Dante Moretti, GM of the Chicago Rebels and his romance with star defenseman, Cade “Alamo” Burnett. Hot, sweet and relevant Meader shared a delightful romance with depth and heart.
Melting Point by Kate Meader
After reading Flirting with Fire by Kate Meader, the first novel in the Hot in Chicago series I was hoping we would get more of Firefighter Gage Simpson and Brady Smith the guarded, tattooed chef. The heat and humor from their first introduction had me craving more. Melting Point delivered their complicated, emotional and heated romance.
Hard to Be Good by Laura Kaye
Hard to Be Good is a novella in the Hark Ink series by Laura Kaye while it is not necessary to follow the main story, we do see the after effects at the end of book three and get a swoony LGBT romance with plenty of heat. This story pushed me beyond my typical comfort zone. As a straight woman, I was not sure I could connect let alone enjoy an M/M romance. I should have known Kaye would deliver, and give me all the feels.
