When the Marquess Met His Match by Laura Lee Guhrke

When the Marquess Met His Match is set in Regency London filled with wonderful, feisty, and flawed characters. This is the first in a new series called, An American Heiress in London. From almost the beginning I knew what was going to unfold, but the journey to get there was delicious. I laughed, shouted and swooned as I devoured this in a single afternoon. Mini review: wicked, delicious and romantic.

I have always loved Cinderella and The Trouble with Being A Duke offers us a delightful twist on the tale. This is the first book in the Kingsboro Ball series. Barnes delivered an engaging tale with lovable characters and I am looking forward to reading more of her work. Three word review: enchanting, romantic with some humor.

Hmm, let’s see, one need only look at my Pinterest boards to discover three of my favorites; Jensen Ackles, Ian Somerhalder and Joseph Morgan. *fans self* How did I get on this subject? Oh yes the cover of Less Than A Gentleman immediately caught my eye and yum! I didn’t know what it was about but oh dang I wanted to find out. Thankfully Kerrelyn Sparks delivered on more than just eye candy and what I discovered was a suspenseful historical romance that had me turning the pages. Three word review: suspenseful, romantic and riveting.
