I didn’t realize A Christmas Courtship by Shelley Shepard Gray was part of the Berlin Bookmobile series and book three at that, but I loved the idea of a bookmobile librarian helping an Amish bachelor court his neighbor. This sweet holiday story shares two romances to warm your heart.
Whispers from the Dead by Karen Ann Hopkins is the second book in the Serenity’s Plain Secrets.This is a mystery series set against the backdrop of Amish country. Whispers of the Dead offered a unique mystery with plenty of twists and a continuation of the slow burning romance that began in Lamb to the Slaughter.
Last year I read The Hallowed Ones and loved the tale Laura Bickle gave us. It was one of my favorite reads, and I was on pins and needles to begin The Outside.
