In Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs, Mercy and Adam travel to Montana when Mercy’s brother Gary is in trouble. I had a blast reading Winter Lost from the gods to their quest. This series is favorite, and while I love this genre in audio, I began reading it and hear the voices as I created them, so I continue to read them.
Emergence by Kim Harrison is the third audiobook narrated by Xe Sands in the Eclipsed Evolution trilogy. In this last installment, we shift from scientific study to politics between the humans and aliens known as “Neighbors.” Suspense, friendships, and reveals made for an interesting ending while still leaving the door open to explore more.
The Summer Escape by Jill Shalvis is the sixth contemporary small-town romance novel in the standalone companion series Sunrise Cove. I absolutely adored this enemies to lovers mystery with family, romance and redemption. Grab your copy and enjoy!

A forensic genealogist, the hundred and eighty-one-year-old remains of a woman who died mysteriously in 1841, Edgar Allan Poe, and a historical desk with mystical properties… yes, please. Grab an iced coffee and see what I enjoyed about this meaty cozy mystery.
Barely Even Friends by Mae Bennett offers a delicious modern day retelling of “Beauty and the Beast” with a home improvement twist. A grumpy secluded owner, a cheerful staff and a designer eager to prove herself gave way to a delightful romantic tale complete with a library. Be still my heart.
