I dove straight into Part-time Gods, the second audiobook in the DFZ, urban fantasy series by Rachel Aaron before the ink dried on my review of the first audiobook. We are back in the Detroit Free Zone and our girl Opal is in serious trouble.
Minimum Wage Magic delivered from an intriguing world to unique characters. Mages, dragons, cybernetics and magic gave way to a suspenseful tale filled with characters I want more of. The first in the DFZ series you’ll want to add this to your TBR pile.
From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout delivered a riveting fantasy filled with romance, supernatural elements, and danger. Armentrout pulled me in and held me captive.
Bound is the eighth audiobook in the Alex Verus series by Benedict Jacka. Narrated by Gildart Jackson, I was once again pulled into this riveting world of light and dark mages.
Set in the same world as the Iron Druid Chronicles, Ink & Sigil written by Kevin Hearne and narrated by Luke Daniels takes us to Scotland. There it introduces us to Al MacBharrais and his motley crew. Hearne delivered a fantastic first in Ink & Sigil series that left me grinning.
