I really enjoyed Until Next Time and was excited to begin Gilded Wings the second book in Amy Lignor’s Angel Chronicles series. This time we travel to America during the Gilded Age of New York. I have always found the time period after the civil war fascinating and was delighted to visit. Romance, moral decisions and faith all play a strong role in this tale. The tale is mixed with the author’s special blend of humor and messages. I easily consumed this and look forward to Matt and Emily’s next adventure.

The Water Witch by Juliet Dark
I loved The Demon Lover, book one in the Fairwick Chronicles and was eager to return to Fairwick and all of the supernatural creatures who reside there. I will confess that in my heart of hearts I was also hoping that somehow Callie and her succubus lover Liam would be reunited. Dark delivers a beautiful, and enchanting tale that kept me enthralled. I loved the characters, the mystery and the magic of this college town.

Scent of Darkness: A Novel by Margot Berwin
I have always been curious about smells and the attraction we feel to them or associate with them. Certain smells trigger memories for me some good and some bad. In Scent of Darknesswe are taken on a strange journey with one woman and the two men in her life. One represents good and the other evil. While the tale was engaging enough, it did leave me scratching my head.
Temping Is Hell by Cathy Yardley
I was looking for a good Urban Fantasy after my self-induced historical romance marathon and when Entangled Publishing asked me if I would review Cathy Yardley’s Temping is Hell I was immediately intrigued by the synopsis. This was a fun, smexy action packed tale and the terrific start of a new series. I easily became caught up in the characters, the secrets and the hilarious, feisty, Thelma & Louise protagonist.
