Lately thrillers have called me to read them, and The Perfect Girl by Gilly Macmillan drew me in with its promise of gripping thriller and secrets. Fast paced, with different narratives I easily devoured The Perfect Girl in two sittings.
Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak is the first novel in the Evelyn Talbot Chronicles. Novak delivers a romantic suspense filled with danger set against the backdrop of Hilltop Alaska a town outside of Anchorage. Suspense, murder and a little heat made Her Darkest Nightmare a page-turner.
Fourth of July weekend, despite my pile of ARCS and my long TBR list I was in the mood for something different to read. Can you relate? I’ve been lovin’ thrillers on audio this summer and was delighted to accept The Drowning Game by L.S. Hawker for review. Narrated by Amanda Dolan and Paul Woodson this mystery thriller offered twists and turns as it kept me guessing. A brilliant thriller that will keep you guessing.
I received a copy of Before the Fall by Noah Hawley at BEA and after hearing a narration sample and reading some blogger reviews I decided to grab an audiobook. I switched back and forth between the two before listening completely.
