I didn’t realize when the cover and synopsis pulled me in to The Janes by Louisa Luna, that this was book two in the Alice Vega series. Gritty, dark, with moments of humor Luna delivered a suspenseful crime thriller that could easily have been pulled from today’s headlines.

McGuire offers a unique take on ghosts that took us from the cornfields of Kansas to the inner city streets of New York. A brilliant world and concept that left me hankering for more.
