I was intrigued by the synopsis of STEALING MR. RIGHT by Tamara Morgan, it reminded me a little of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. An FBI agent married to a jewel thief sounded like a fun afternoon escape. While the back and forth timelines were jarring at times, STEALING MR. RIGHT delivered humor, an exciting heist and lots of twists.
Distress Signals by Catherine Ryan Howard
I am always up for trying a new to me author on audio, especially when it comes to thrillers. DISTRESS SIGNALS by Catherine Ryan Howard offered up a thrilling missing person’s mystery with twists and turns that kept me listening into the wee hours.
From London with Love by Diana Quincy
From London with Love by Diana Quincy is the third book in the Rebellious Brides series. Regretfully I have not read the first two books in the series, but thankfully each works as a standalone. This was an engaging, touching and sometimes humorous second chance romance that I devoured in two sittings.
The Dispatcher by John Scalzi
I was fortune enough to download The Dispatcher by John Scalzi when it was free on Audible. I thoroughly enjoy the stories Scalzi creates and find I prefer them on audio. The Dispatcher narrated by Zachary Quinto was an addictive and suspenseful science fiction tale.
The Sleepwalker by Chris Bohjalian
The Sleepwalker by Chris Bohjalian weaves a compelling mystery regarding the disappearance of a young mother in rural Vermont. Bohjalian draws the reader in as he introduces us to the strange world of parasomnia. The Sleepwalker will keep you reading late into the night.
