Deja Who by MaryJanice Davidson is the first in a new urban fantasy series where folks are aware of their past lives. It explores reincarnation as it shares famous characters from the past and introduces heroine Leah Nazir who navigates her own tragic past, helps clients with theirs, and waits to be murdered.

Guest Review: Revenge in a Cold River by Anne Perry
Today I am excited to invite Sophia Rose to share her review of Revenge in a Cold River by Anne Perry. Many of you know Sophia as a co-blogger at Delightful Reader. Sophia is a book addict like myself and loves to read a plethora of genres. Since Delightful Reader focuses on books with a romance, Sophia will occasionally pop over here to Caffeinated and share other genres she loves. I hope you will give her a warm welcome. Sophia will be replying to your comments and questions. Enjoy!
The Drowning Game by L.S. Hawker
I’ve been lovin’ thrillers on audio this summer and was delighted to accept The Drowning Game by L.S. Hawker for review. Narrated by Amanda Dolan and Paul Woodson this mystery thriller offered twists and turns as it kept me guessing. A brilliant thriller that will keep you guessing.
Before the Fall by Noah Hawley
I received a copy of Before the Fall by Noah Hawley at BEA and after hearing a narration sample and reading some blogger reviews I decided to grab an audiobook. I switched back and forth between the two before listening completely.
Illusion Town by Jayne Castle
Illusion Town by Jayne Castle is the thirteenth book in the Harmony series and works as a standalone. This paranormal suspense takes us to Illusion Town, Harmony’s version of Vegas with its opulent casinos and hotels. For Finder, Hannah West, things are about to become intense as she wakes up married and in danger. Fast-paced with suspense, twist, and a delicious romance Illusion Town delivered all that I have come to love from this author.
Witch Slapped by Dakota Cassidy and Grilled Pork Steak
Today on Recipe and a Book Recommendation I am excited to share a marinade for grilled pork steak and an audiobook review of Witch Slapped written by Dakota Cassidy and narrated by Hollie Jackson. The marinade is bursting with flavor and is very simple to make. I make this when I am cooking for a large crowd. The pork loins are cheaper than other grilled foods and better for you. Grab a pen and paper because you will want to add the recipe and Witch Slapped to your shopping list.
