Embracing Magick by Debbie Cassidy is the third book in the Witch Blood Chronicles. Narrated by Zehra Jane Naqvi our heroine faces down danger, love and more. Oh boy, this was an engaging tale offering more insight into our heroine and ending on a major cliffhanger. Thank goodness the next audio is queued up!
I have been craving urban fantasy and paranormal stories, so when I scrolled past a Facebook Ad for How to Save an Undead Life by Hailey Edwards I clicked to learned more. Necromancers, magical houses and more had me one-clicking. How to Save an Undead Life was addictive, entertaining and offered a well-developed world where the paranormal begins live among humans.
With my reading mood in full urban fantasy and paranormal mode, I grabbed Guardian’s Bond by Rhenna Morgan when I noticed the narrator was Nicole Poole. This heated paranormal romance with its unique shifter world offered up an interesting start to the Ancient Ink Series.

I’ve been on an urban fantasy binge this year, and when given the opportunity to listen to Havoc Rising by Brian S. Leon I quickly grabbed my headphones. Mythology, gods, fae, witches, and an immortal guardian…heck yes!
I grabbed Two Tales of the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne in my quest to listen to EVERY DANG THING in the Iron Druid Chronicles. Those who remember I was deathly ill in January and over the course of twelve days devoured the series, novellas, and spinoffs on audio. Short or long Hearne knows how to spin a tale and I cannot get enough of this world and its characters.
