Stars of Fortune by Nora Roberts is the first novel in her newest collection, The Guardians Trilogy. Steeped in mythology this paranormal story takes place on a small Greek island where six strangers drawn by fate begin a quest. What the Heart Remembers by Bette Lee Crosby
What the Heart Remembers by Bette Lee Crosby is the third book in her Memory House Collections. In the last book, we meet Max Martinelli, a young woman who is also touched with the ability to feel/sense the past in objects. Haunted by the memory of an unfinished romance, she journeys back to Paris looking for answers and instead finds something unexpected.
Against a Brightening Sky by Jaime Lee Moyer
Against a Brightening Sky by Jaime Lee Moyer is the last book in the Delia Martin trilogy. A wonderful historical murder-mystery trilogy set around the 1900’s in San Francisco wrapped in paranormal elements. While each of the books shares a particular case, I recommend reading them in order due to the progress of the main characters. Against A Brightening Sky delivered a dark mystery weaved with Russian history that quickly held me captive.
Deceptions by Kelley Armstrong
Deceptions by Kelley Armstrong, is the third book in her urban fantasy series Cainsville. Filled with Fae, omens and suspense I have come to love this series. It has an old mystery flair to it that reminds me of thrillers from my childhood. Deceptions suffered from middle book syndrome but had bits I thoroughly enjoyed.
