RUN TO GROUND by Katie Ruggle is the first in her new romantic suspense series Rocky Mountain K9 Unit. Narrated by Callie Beaulieu Ruggle pulled me in with her strong heroine and adorable siblings. Suspense, a sweet romance, and a heartbroken dog had me hooked.
LOST AND FOUND SISTERS by Jill Shalvis is the first book in her new Wildstone series. Set in the small coastal town of Wildstone, California Shalvis hooked with the story’s intriguing begins. Romance, growth, family, and acceptance filled the pages, and I am looking forward to returning to this charming town.
Julia Quinn reminds me why I love historical romances. THE VICOUNT WHO LOVES ME is the second book in the Bridgertons series, and I continued my adventures on audio. Kate Sheffield and the Viscount Anthony Bridgerton provided a hilarious romance filled with snark, stupidity, HEART, and heat. I dare you not to fall in love.
SLIGHTLY SOUTH OF SIMPLE by Kristy Woodson Harvey is the perfect book to take to the beach this summer. The first in the Peachtree Bluff series, this women’s fiction novel takes you to the seaside town of Peachtree Bluff as Ansley finds her beachfront home filled to the brim.
I devoured THE LAST CHANCE MATINEE by Mariah Stewart on a rainy and cold Friday evening. While sipping hot cocoa in my favorite chair Stewart quickly transported me to a small town nestled in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. There I quickly became caught up in Cara, Des and Allies’ story. I love when a good story pulls you in and allows you to connect. THE LAST CHANCE MATINEE did just that!
