After devouring The Witcher on Netflix, I began the audiobooks and they are fantastic! These shorts are entertaining and offer us glimpses of the world and characters that make up the world of the Witcher trilogy.
Magic Triumphs by Ilona Andrews
Magic Triumphs by Ilona Andrews is the tenth and final audiobook in the Kate Daniels series. Folks, it was bloody brilliant and everything I dreamed and couldn’t possibly imagine as a befitting ending to this fantastic journey. Andrews wrapped this up with plenty of action, a few twists, humor and undeniable heart.
A Plague of Giants by Kevin Hearne
A beast of an audiobook, A Plague of Giants is the first of the epic Seven Kennings, fantasy series by Kevin Hearne. Narrated by Luke Daniels, I quickly became caught up in this magical tale.
Smoke and Iron by Rachel Caine
Smoke and Iron by Rachel Caine is the fourth novel in the Great Library series. As addictive as its predecessors. I could not set this down. Jess and his motley crew face their greatest danger yet. Jam packed from begin to end with plots, deception, danger and nail biting suspense. Gads I love this series.
Scourged by Kevin Hearne
I devoured Scourged by Kevin Hearne, the ninth and final book in the Iron Druid Chronicles within the first 24 hours of its release. Once again, I listened to the brilliant narrations of Luke Daniels. Then, I listened again. As much as I am not ready to say goodbye to this series, Hearne delivered an intense, twisted and heartfelt finale that still left the door open for more stories. (Please let there be more stories.)
