The Last Look by Mariah Stewart published in 2007 and is now available in audio format. Narrated by Traci Odom, this is the first book in the Last series. Special agent Dorsey Collins is stunned when a body of a woman is found dead. She’s stunned because her father convicted her killer twenty-four years ago. The Goodbye Café by Mariah Stewart was Allie’s story in the delightfully charming, small-town Hudson Sisters series. Allie was the toughest sister to warm up to, but growth and self-reflection stoked the fires.
The Sugarhouse Blues by Mariah Stewart is the second book in the Hudson Sisters series and it was delightful to return to this small Pennsylvania town as the sisters Allie, Des, and Cara, work to restore the Sugarhouse theater. Cute dogs, wicked banter, and family gave way to growth and bonding.
I devoured THE LAST CHANCE MATINEE by Mariah Stewart on a rainy and cold Friday evening. While sipping hot cocoa in my favorite chair Stewart quickly transported me to a small town nestled in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. There I quickly became caught up in Cara, Des and Allies’ story. I love when a good story pulls you in and allows you to connect. THE LAST CHANCE MATINEE did just that!
