Sinclair Justice by Colleen Shannon & Harmonized by Mary Behre
Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! I have two romances to share with you today..enjoy and stick around for a cup of mocha coffee! Romantic Suspense is one of my favorite genres and Today I am sharing Harmonized by Mary Behre, a novella in Tidewater series with a little paranormal twist and Sinclair Justice by Colleen Shannon the second novel in her action-packed Texas Rangers series. Grab a cup of coffee or some earl of grey and one of these tasty muffins I baked just for the occasion *kicks bakery box out of view* and enjoy!!
Chasing River by K.A. Tucker
K. A. Tucker has become one of my favorite authors and her Burying Water series is among my favorites. I jumped into Chasing River without reading the synopsis and was delighted to find we were not in Oregon but Dublin! Amber Welles is traveling and it is here that her life is about to change. Filled with suspense, tender moments and a look into some of Ireland’s history Chasing River delivered all that I hoped for and more. While this is classified as NA, it has the feel of an adult novel.
The Witch of Bourbon Street by Suzanne Palmieri
The Witch of Bourbon Street by Suzanne Palmieri offers a lush, Gothic tale wrapped in mystery, and magic. This was my first Palmieri book and her descriptive writing style is beautiful. The New Orleans setting and the series of unsolved murders drew me to this novel set in 1902. I would classify it as women’s fiction with a touch of magical realism.
Taking Heart by T.J. Kline
Taking Heart by T.J. Kline is the second novel in her Healing Harts series and I chose to dive in after reading the synopsis. “a soldier suffering from PTSD and a therapy dog trainer find that some scars can only be healed by love…” (From synopsis) Kline wove suspense, lovable character and swoon-worthy moments into this contemporary romance.
