Torn by Monica Murphy

Torn is the second book in the Billionaire Bachelors Club. In the first book, Crave three friends make a bet that the last guy to remain single takes a million dollar prize. Each book deals with one of the friends and can be read as a standalone. Mini review: Fun, seriously hot and sweet.

Night Owls by Lauren M. Roy

I grabbed Night Owls the first book in the new urban fantasy series by Lauren M. Roy for the setting. The tale takes place in the college town of Edgewood at a bookstore called Night Owls. Roy offered an engaging tale with a motley crew of supernatural and human characters. Mini review: With a new supernatural creature and interesting characters, it holds the promise of an exciting new series.

Seducing Charlotte by Diana Quincy

Seducing Charlotte is the first book in the Accidental Peers by Diana Quincy. If you remember I reviewed and loved Tempting Bella #2 and Compromising Willa #3. Even though this is book one, it takes place after book three but before book two. Confused? No need to worry, each works deliciously as a standalone. Mini review: romantic, suspenseful, wicked banter and a strong heroine made this tale delightful.

Dash of Peril by Lori Foster

If you have been staying Caffeinated you know, I have been lovin’ the Love Undercover series by Lori Foster. Dash of Peril is the last book in the series, but don’t sigh because her next series features Cannon a character we first met in Getting Rowdy. Dash of Peril features kick-ass Lieutenant Margret Peterson and Dashiel Riske, Logan’s sexy brother. Mini review: Edge of your seat suspense and smokin’ hot romance made this one a keeper.
