Dawson delivers heat and some role-playing that heated up the pages. Sizzling chemistry, humor and cupcakes had this reader melting.
Playing with Fire by Kate Meader is the second book in the Hot in Chicago series that follows a group of firefighting foster siblings in Chicago. Playing with Fire belongs to the feisty, outspoken female firefighter Alexandra Dempsey. Meader shares a haters to lovers romance with sizzle. I loved spending time with Eli and Alexandra.
Shadow Fall by Laura Griffin is the ninth book in her Tracers romantic suspense series. All of the books in the series will work as a standalone and offer up a compelling mystery and a sexy side dish of romance. Violently murdered women, a sexy ex-Marine and a FBI agent leading her first case made Shadow Fall a page-turner.
The Renegade’s Heart by Claire Delacroix is the first in the True Love Brides series and I was delighted to find myself back in Kinfairlie. This story involves the feisty Isabella, sister to Alexander, the Lord of Kinfairlie. This story takes place sometime after the Jewels of Kinfairlie series ended. A knight trying to escape the Fae, stolen jewels and a forbidden romance made this an intense listen.
