I have absolutely loved the Bromance Book Club series, featuring a group of male friends who secretly have a book club where they read romance novels and help each other with each other’s romantic relationships. Throughout the series, the Russian (Vlad) has helped his friends, and made us laugh with his love of cheese and tummy troubles. I wasn’t sure Adams could make me swoon for the big lug, but she did.
We are back with Illuminant Enforcer, Madison Cox and it’s second week on the job. It’s Black Friday and an outbreak of evil at the mall leads to more trouble. This urban fantasy series by Rebecca Chastain is a lot of fun. Come check out my thoughts on A Fistful of Fire narrated by Elise Arsenault.
It was fantastic to return to the Valhalla AWOL urban fantasy series with Freke Wyrd Voodoo, the third audio in the series narrated by Gary Bennett. Mouse finds himself in Louisiana after being picked up by the feds in Mexico. Laced with Norse mythology, Curry kept us busy as Magnus deals with problems.
I love a good thriller, and Clare Mackintosh delivered with Hostage. Narrated by Vinette Robinson, she takes you into the air and into the home of Mina, a flight attendant with a five-year-old daughter and a rocky marriage. Buckle up for a thrilling ride….
