Spectral is the debut novel of author Shannon Duffy. This young adult paranormal romance offers us a delightful looks at witches, covens and the power of celestial events. This was a beautifully written, fast paced tale that kept me engaged. Spectral is sure to delight fans of paranormal, suspense and mystery as we travel from a small town in the Midwest, to Russia and Italy.
Dark Magic by James Swain
Dark Magic, an urban fantasy by bestselling author James Swain delves into the world of secret psychic societies, witches, demons and Satan himself. While not without flaws, Swain’s tale was captivating as his protagonist and a team of psychics race to save New York City from a deadly attack. I easily consumed this enjoyable read in a few evenings.
At Grave’s End by Jeaniene Frost
At Grave’s End is the third book in the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost and perhaps one of my personal favorites so far. While Frost delivers plenty of action she also shares the emotional side of Cat and Bones relationship. I consumed this in a single afternoon and again questioned why I have let these books sit in my TBR pile for so long. I will be remedying that by reading one a month until I am caught up. It is written and so it shall be done. (hehehe)
Crystal Gardens by Amanda Quick
Crystal Gardens is the first in a new trilogy by Amanda Quick called the Ladies of Lantern Street. It’s a historical romance laced with paranormal elements. Quick delivers an action packed novel with characters that I quickly came to love. Filled with suspense, mystery, paranormal ability and a swoon worthy hero I was quickly swept up in the story.
Intangible by J. Meyers
Intangible is the debut novel of indie author J. Meyers and I found it to be a refreshing twist. Meyers gives us a tale steeped in prophecy, danger, secrets, vampires and endless possibilities for future novels. I easily consumed this entertaining tale in a few hours.
