Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I am a huge fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout and was delighted to be given the opportunity to review her newest novel Cursed. Armentrout brings her own spicy twist to death and kids with supernatural powers. This tale has mystery, suspense and an oh so sweet romance. I quickly consumed this and hope it becomes a series.

The Lost Night by Jayne Castle

The Lost Night was an absolute pre-order for me. I love the Harmony and Arcane series. All of the books are designed to be read as a standalone, but I have read them in order since book one. The Lost Night offers up a suspenseful paranormal mystery with a healthy side dish of romance. Every time I open a Castle novel I find a delicious escape.

Last to Die by Tess Gerritsen

Last to Die was pre-ordered for my Nook months ago. I adore this series and was a fan long before TNT made the hit tv series Rizzoli & Isles. I read this over two evening and found it to be captivating and suspenseful.

My favorite are the type that can also be read as standalone. They usually involve one family or a group of friends and each tale tells one character’s story.

Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan

Unspoken offers a gothic mystery filled with magic, romance and suspense. The first in Brennan’s Lynburn Legacy series I was drawn into the world she created. With hints of Nancy Drew and a fairy tale feel this novel is sure to appeal to a large audience. Set in a remote English countryside in the tiny cottage town of Sorry-in-the-Vale you will find secrets, powers and mystical creatures.
