Written in Red by Anne Bishop

Thanks to following book review blogs I stumbled upon some amazing reviews of Written in Red by Anne Bishop. To: Loupe @ Hot Listens, Maja @ Nocturnal Library and Carmel @ Rabid Reads…I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To say I loved Written in Red would be an understatement. To say I was obsessed with listening to it would ring closer to the truth. I listen to the eighteen hour and thirty-two minute audio in less than three days! When I wasn’t listening I was thinking, obsessing and talking about it. Mini review: Compelling, magical and engaging. Brilliant, breathtaking and world-building euphoria.

Spirited delivered a murder mystery with likable characters and ghostly communications. Mini review: an exciting start to the series, with murder, romance and a little heat.

Desperately Seeking Suzanna by Elizabeth Michels

Desperately Seeking Suzanna is the second book in the Tricks of the Ton by Elizabeth Michels. If you will remember I adored Must Love Dukes her debut novel and the first in this series. Guess What? I have a new favorite author to add to the historical romance genre. Michels not only delivered a romantic tale that held me spellbound she did something quite clever. Mini review: Fun, romantic, hot, and sweet. Humor made this tale delightful.

Lovely, Dark, and Deep by Susannah Sandlin

Lovely, Dark and Deep by Susannah Sandlin was a serial that I read over the course of eight weeks, and it was such a thrilling adventure. (Kindle Serials are stories published in episodes, with future episodes delivered at no additional cost.) Sandlin once again showcased her talent as she delved into the romantic suspense genre. Mini review: Intense, action-packed, romantic and engaging.

Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare

Romancing the Duke the first book in Tessa Dare’s new series Castles Ever After was such a fun romp. With colorful characters, a magical feel and its swoon-worthy troubled hero. I gobbled this up in a single evening. Izzy our heroine is a character that will forever be dear to me. Mini review: Delightful, romantic, hot and magical.
