When It Hits The Fan is the debut novel of author, Victoria Colotta. It shares the story of Camilla Valentini a young New Yorker with a plan. That is until she has the rug pulled out from beneath her and has to start redefining herself. Realistic, heartwarming and filled with friends and characters I would love to learn more about, this standalone novel delivered character growth, discovery and a touch of romance.
When All the Girls Have Gone is a standalone romantic suspense by Jayne Anne Krentz. I am a long time fan and read both her novels and those penned by her pseudonyms Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick. While I enjoyed this murder mystery that involves a 15-year-old rape case, it didn’t quite capture me like most Krentz books.
A Lowcountry Christmas by Mary Alice Monroe is the fifth novel in her popular Lowcountry Summer series. This was my first experience with both and Monroe delighted me with this story as she shared one family’s struggles. It’s almost Christmas and finances are tight bringing disappointment to their youngest as their oldest son struggles with PTSD.

Soothing narration shares the story of Ellen the Elephant using soothing voices and light music to induce you child to drift off to sleep.
The Operator by Kim Harrison is the second novel in the Peri Reed Chronicles an intense science fiction thriller from the author of the Hollows. High stakes, intense action scenes, and time jumps made the Operator an addictive edition to this series.
