I am back with a review of the seventh audiobook in the Eric Carter urban fantasy series, Suicide Kings by Stephen Blackmoore. Rudy Sandra narrates as Eric aids a friend in a dangerous ritual and becomes embroiled in an age-old rivalry. Fast-paced, this series pulls me in every time.

A Grave Robbery by Deanna Raybourn

Deanna Raybourn’s ninth book in the Veronica Speedwell Mysteries proved quite the clever case, when Lord Rosemorran purchases a wax doll and his daughter asked Stoker to animate it. What Veronica and Stoker discover is a carefully preserved human encased in wax like the Sleeping Beauty in the style of Madame Tussaud’s. I don’t think I’ll ever grow bored with this series and quickly was swept up into the mystery and these characters.

Time’s Convert by Deborah Harkness is the fourth novel in the All Souls series. This is Marcus’s story, the young man who Matthew turned. An addictive tale filled with mystery, romance, history and the supernatural. A must for fans of the All Souls Trilogy that began it all.
