Cogman once again took us on a maddening adventure as Librarian Irene and her loyal friends faced down danger. Imaginative and suspenseful with a touch of magic and science fiction the worlds of the Invisible Library are ones I want to visit again and again.
Nick Cutter is an author whose books adorn my bookshelf. I devoured The Troop and The Deep and was anxious to begin Little Heaven. While it wasn’t without flaw’s fans of old school horror will find themselves entertained.
The Sleepwalker by Chris Bohjalian weaves a compelling mystery regarding the disappearance of a young mother in rural Vermont. Bohjalian draws the reader in as he introduces us to the strange world of parasomnia. The Sleepwalker will keep you reading late into the night.
The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer is a page-turning thriller narrated by Ellen Archer. While going into the tale, I was aware of the mixed reviews; I am here to tell you I devoured the audio. Action-packed and filled with snark, twists and a smidgen of romance Meyer delivered a tale I’d love to see on the big screen.
The Wild Aces series by Chanel Cleeton has been one I have thoroughly enjoyed. On Broken Wings, the third book in this series shares Easy’s story.
