I first picked up Friends with Secrets by Christine Gunderson as a Prime first when author friends recommended it. However, when I got the chance to listen to the audio narrated by Andi Arndt, I couldn’t resist. This women’s fiction story with suspense, murder and moms held me captive from beginning to end.
I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, and was curious to read The Berlin Apartment by Bryn Turnbull. It’s the story of one young couple separated by the wall and the events that follow. A heartbreaking tale shares their desperate attempts to be together and the sacrifices along the way. You’ll want to grab a latte and curl up with this fall must read.

If you are looking for a humorous, action-packed romantasy you’ll want grab Apprentice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. This is the second book in the Assistant to the Villain series and delivered all I expected and more. Narrated by Em Eldridge, the audiobook brought the characters, snark and adventures to life.
