Lordy, it is bitterly cold here this weekend. Hazel came for a visit, and we finally took the tree down. We usually do it after the 6th, but life got in the way. Mr. Caffeinated and I are watching Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials on Netflix and the new season of Lady Scarlett. I am binging The Closer. I watched it when it was on television, but am finding comfort in rewatching familiar series. I am also doing more re-reads and listens. Stay Caffeinated & spread kindness.

It’s super freezing where I live too so I hope you’re staying inside where it’s cozy! I keep hearing great things about Seven Dials I may want to watch it now! Death and Other Occupational Hazards sounds intriguing.

Knowing what happens in a book or movie has become a comfort lately. I’m re-watching The Good Place 🙂 And this cold is no joke! We’re supposed to be pretty bitter and windy this week – I won’t be surprised if the kids get another day off, but I won’t tell my son that!

  3. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

Yay for getting the tree down! But brrrr, it sounds cold. I hope you’re staying cozy and warm indoors. The temperatures dropped here in the past few days, but only to the low or mid-30s. It will be colder later this week, though—at least at night. I hope you’re staying cozy and warm indoors.

Rereading or rewatching books or shows you loved is a great comfort in these crazy times.

Oh yeah, it has definitely dropped down into the freezer with the temps lately. I’m leaving my decorations up an extra week because I figure we need an extra week to appreciate them since we missed seeing them while we were gone on our trip. 🙂
Glad you had a fun visit with Hazel and are getting into some good watches and reading.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

I loved the Christie adaptation of Why Didn’t They Ask Evans on BritBox and loved it so I need to watch The Seven Dials. It’s one of my favorites. I’m looking forward to your review of the Simone St James book. It’s high on my TBR> Have a great week!

  6. Tizzy

It’s a little milder in my part of the UK now but we had snow and ice recently.
I might take a look at Seven Dials.
Death and Other Occupational Hazards looks fun.

I always am bingeing one “oldie but goodie” late at night as background noise really, but find it comfortable to do because I know all the plots by heart. Great review on Woman Down! It’s in my eReader waiting for it to move up from the TBR to the R. I look forward to reading your thoughts on a Box Full of Darkness. I have that on order. It sounds so interesting! Have a great week!

I do a ton of rewatching tv shows. Like Outlander all the time. I also will have Big Bang Theory on in the background all the time, I especially like some cable channel is now showing it like for hours on the weekend during the day. I wish I had more time for rereading, but I still have too many new books to read and so I can’t quite get to that point yet. In the past though I used to reread all the time before I discovered the world of blogging and review books, lol. It is frigidly cold here too this weekend. Hope you have a good week!

  9. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh nice! We were rewatching The Closer for a time with reruns on Lifetime. We have the DVDs too as I always like buying my absolute favorite shows on DVD to own so I can enjoy them when I want no matter what streaming service they are on because as I saw, they eventually leave said streaming service to go to one I don’t subscribe to.

Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them once you get to read them!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

Re-reads are great when the world is so uncertain. It’s just good to go into something knowing how it will end.

We had some really cold weather a week or so ago, but last week was a bit warmer, next week will be colder again. I definitely look forward to spring. How fun hazel came for a visit. We still have our tree standing for a bit longer. Re-reads and re-watching can be so comforting
