Lordy, it is bitterly cold here this weekend. Hazel came for a visit, and we finally took the tree down. We usually do it after the 6th, but life got in the way. Mr. Caffeinated and I are watching Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials on Netflix and the new season of Lady Scarlett. I am binging The Closer. I watched it when it was on television, but am finding comfort in rewatching familiar series. I am also doing more re-reads and listens. Stay Caffeinated & spread kindness.

It seams everywhere is freezing and snowy. I am so happy to be in Cancun for now, and out of the cold. Enjoy the rest of your week, Kimberly.
Veros @ Dark Shelf of Wonders
It’s super freezing where I live too so I hope you’re staying inside where it’s cozy! I keep hearing great things about Seven Dials I may want to watch it now! Death and Other Occupational Hazards sounds intriguing.
Angela (Angel's Book Nook)
I’m also binging The Closer and have Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials on my watch list.
Stay warm and cozy. Happy Reading!
Lisa Howeler
We have bitterly cold weather coming here this week too. Not looking forward to it! Hope your week goes well and you can stay warm.
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
I enjoyed The Closer but I loved the Major Crimes spin off more 🙂
Stay warm and have a great reading week
Jen Twimom
We had snow yesterday and today. It’s winter again (after a brief flirt with 50F at the beginning of the week).
Becki
Knowing what happens in a book or movie has become a comfort lately. I’m re-watching The Good Place 🙂 And this cold is no joke! We’re supposed to be pretty bitter and windy this week – I won’t be surprised if the kids get another day off, but I won’t tell my son that!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Yay for getting the tree down! But brrrr, it sounds cold. I hope you’re staying cozy and warm indoors. The temperatures dropped here in the past few days, but only to the low or mid-30s. It will be colder later this week, though—at least at night. I hope you’re staying cozy and warm indoors.
Rereading or rewatching books or shows you loved is a great comfort in these crazy times.
Anne - Books of My Heart
uhoh if it’s bitter cold there it’s headed this way. I wanted to read the Nalini Singh but already have like 10 releases from January 27 I wanted to read.
Sophia Rose
Oh yeah, it has definitely dropped down into the freezer with the temps lately. I’m leaving my decorations up an extra week because I figure we need an extra week to appreciate them since we missed seeing them while we were gone on our trip. 🙂
Glad you had a fun visit with Hazel and are getting into some good watches and reading.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Sophie
Stay warm Kimberly! We had a reprieve this week but the cold is coming back next week.
Katherine
I loved the Christie adaptation of Why Didn’t They Ask Evans on BritBox and loved it so I need to watch The Seven Dials. It’s one of my favorites. I’m looking forward to your review of the Simone St James book. It’s high on my TBR> Have a great week!
Tizzy
It’s a little milder in my part of the UK now but we had snow and ice recently.
I might take a look at Seven Dials.
Death and Other Occupational Hazards looks fun.
Bree @ Bibliophilebree
I can’t wait for your review of A Box Full of Darkness!
Meezan
I wish those colder temps would come my way and bring us snow instead of rain. Stay cozy and warm! 🙂
Suzanne @Chick with Books
I always am bingeing one “oldie but goodie” late at night as background noise really, but find it comfortable to do because I know all the plots by heart. Great review on Woman Down! It’s in my eReader waiting for it to move up from the TBR to the R. I look forward to reading your thoughts on a Box Full of Darkness. I have that on order. It sounds so interesting! Have a great week!
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
I do a ton of rewatching tv shows. Like Outlander all the time. I also will have Big Bang Theory on in the background all the time, I especially like some cable channel is now showing it like for hours on the weekend during the day. I wish I had more time for rereading, but I still have too many new books to read and so I can’t quite get to that point yet. In the past though I used to reread all the time before I discovered the world of blogging and review books, lol. It is frigidly cold here too this weekend. Hope you have a good week!

It’s been chilly here, but not bitterly cold. Stay warm!
Jen at Introverted Reader
We’ll get around to watching Seven Dials soon. Stay warm!

Happy Sunday!

Enjoy your week, re-reads are comforting.
Emma @ Words And Peace
Nice time with Hazel!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Oh nice! We were rewatching The Closer for a time with reruns on Lifetime. We have the DVDs too as I always like buying my absolute favorite shows on DVD to own so I can enjoy them when I want no matter what streaming service they are on because as I saw, they eventually leave said streaming service to go to one I don’t subscribe to.
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them once you get to read them!
Here’s my StS

Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t realise that Prime had rebooted Miss Scarlett. I’m going to miss the Duke though.
Wishing you a great reading week, stay warm
Cindy's Book Corner
It is cold here as well, and snowy. I am hoping to do more re-reads this year as well. There is comfort in the familiar. I hope you have a great week!
Jill
Re-reads are great when the world is so uncertain. It’s just good to go into something knowing how it will end.
Lola
We had some really cold weather a week or so ago, but last week was a bit warmer, next week will be colder again. I definitely look forward to spring. How fun hazel came for a visit. We still have our tree standing for a bit longer. Re-reads and re-watching can be so comforting
Gail Is This Mutton
We are also re-watching several older productions, although there are some interesting new offerings this week. Stay warm!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
I loved The Closer back when it was on. I plan on watching The Seven Dials soon. I have Such a Perfect Family as well. Hope we both love it! Stay warm and have a wonderful week, Kimberly!
Olivia
I used to enjoy The Closer! Hadn’t thought about the show in a long time. Stay warm!
Lori
Bitter cold here too. Wind and fluffy blowing snow continuing until tonight. Stay Warm!
I hope you have a great week.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
I’m finding watching old favorite TV shows is very comforting. I’ve binged through Dallas, Knots Landing, Falcon Crest and Boston Legal. All favorites of mine when they first came out and I loved binging them. I’ll have to check out the Agatha Christie series. Stay warm and have a great week!
