It was cool this week with highs in the 70s and the Royals and I spent time outside with chalk and riding bikes. I spent Saturday cleaning, and today I will have little Miss Hazel, who is coming for an overnight visit so she can play with her cousins on Monday. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

I’ve got a tour open in August for Romancing the Author, the first in the Cara series by Julieann Dove. It’s a fake-date, slow-burn women’s fiction romance. The tour has review stops, excerpts, an author interview and author playlist. We would love for you to join us.

Off to read the Taylor Jenkins Reid review – for some reason I keep reading her books but I never really like them….(Daisy Jones excepted). And yet here am I wondering if I should give this one a go….

Highs in the 70s sounds lovely! You can send some of that weather our way anytime. It’s been in the mid- to high 80s here, and very humid, with thunderstorms and downpours almost every afternoon or evening. I’m not a summer person, so I spend most of my time indoors.

Have a lovely time with Miss Hazel and her cousins!

You have no idea how your “spread kindness” is welcome today Kimberly! Have fun with Hazel and the Royals next week.

It sounds like you are having some very nice family time and reading some very interesting books. My list keeps getting bigger every time I read all these post on Sunday! Ha!

Wow, temps in the 70s in July sounds like a dream. Enjoy the time with your family! 🙂

O.M.G. I am so jealous of your 70s. We’ve been sweltering in the 90s with high humidity pushing us above 100 at times. It is SO fucking humid! I hate it. I loathe it. And I’m so damn tired of it. It’s exhausting.

It sounds like a busy week – though chalk is always fun. I hope the coming weeks is also fun, Kimberly.

  8. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh gawd, I envy you for those temps! We’re still in the high 90s and it’s not going down anytime soon! I think the lowest we might get is 88 but with humidity it feels like 98! Counting down those days until it’s late October and we can maybe get highs in the 70s! Lol.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them both once you get to read them!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

Enjoy your time with Hazel. Temperatures here (UK) were appalling last week – the 90s! Hopefully cooler this week. The Long Journey caught my eye.
