It was a busy week with a fun concert, plenty of sunshine and some temps in the 90s. We have fallen into a summer routine, but this week I have two doctor appointments with all three grandchildren tagging along- oh joy! LOL Someone asked me how the progressive glasses were working out, and I am happy to report I love them. I got over the weirdness and I am so glad I went with them. I also love the tinting that turns them into sunglasses when I head outdoors. Stay Caffeinated.

I had tri-lens glasses before I had cataract surgery. I never got used to the bottom part. I would take them off to read. I am glad they worked for you though.
Katherine
I’m glad to hear you like the lenses. My husband has been thinking about them but can’t quite get over the weirdness! I’ll have to encourage him to give them a try. I hope this week well – especially the doctors appointments with kids in tow.
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
Hope all the doctor’s appointments went well. Have a wonderful weekend!

Yes… I well recall the fun of taking the grandchildren to my medical appointments! And I’m delighted you’re finding your groove with the varifocals. I need separate reading glasses for reading and computer work – but otherwise they’re brilliant. I hope the coming week is a good, if busy one, Kimberly:).
Lydia C. Lee
The werewolf vampire book looks brilliant. Good find!
Anne- Books of My Heart
It’s great you’ve adjusted to the glasses because it didn’t sound like you liked them at the start. I wouldn’t be excited about taking them to med appts. Good luck!

I had a good week too. I have had the progressive lenses and liked them a lot. Now, I have had cataract surgery and rarely use any glasses except sunglasses.
Sophia Rose
Full swing with the summer for you. Glad the progressives are working out good.
Have a good week, Kimberly!

Oooh, you got The Mirror! I can hardly wait for that one.
I’m glad you have adjusted well to the progressive lenses. Have a wonderful week, and I hope your two medical appointments go well.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
Taking 3 little kids to the doctor with you should be interesting! I hope you survive, lol! I got a copy of The Mirror too and I’ll be posting my review of Winter Lost this week as well. I’m reading and loving it! Hope you have a wonderful week, Kimberly!

All of the new arrivals this week look so good! Glad you like the progressives lenses! It is going to be hot, hot, hot all week here, I need to try to get to the beach.
Meezan
Glad you like the glasses! Good luck with all of your appointments. Having your grandchildren with you should make it fun. I think? 🙂

Glad your concert was a fun one! And hoping for the best with your doctor’s appointments. 🙂

I rarely wear my glasses, mostly my contacts, but I keep telling myself I need to get prescription sunglasses. Maybe one day. Glad your progressives are working out. I can’t wear mine long or I get a little vertigo feeling. Have a good week and good luck with doctor visits with the grandkids!
Lisa Howeler
A few years ago my eye doctor told me I would need bifocals but every time I go back now she says, “not yet.”
I think next time I’ll have to have them though.
We are getting very high, dangerous temps all week here. I don’t have anywhere to go and I don’t plan to!
Jodie
Best wishes at all your appointments! What a devoted Grandmother you are! Have a great week.
Stormi
Glad you are liking the progressive lens, I have been thinking about trying them.
Erin @ Cracker Crumb Life
Good luck at your appointments!

Yay for your progressives working well! I have had them for several years, also with the tint for sunglasses, and love them. Good luck with your doctor’s appointments and having the grandkids along, LOL! Have a great week!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Yeah, we’re in the 90s here too. I am not a fan. Lol. Counting down those long, long days until fall. I think it’s around October 15th? Maybe the 20th? Lol. It’s a long wait that’s for sure! My mom wears the progressives too and I know she favors them then the ones she had before. I’ve never had the transitional lenses myself. I’ve debated about them but I always worry that if I go into a store that’s particularly bright it would start tinting and making it harder to read things and whatnot. One of these days I ought to as I wonder if it’s more cost effective than my buying glasses and sunglasses I have to switch back and forth for when the occasion calls for it.
OOh nice new reads! I am looking forward to the Hawley one! I still need to read book 2 and even though I’m gathering it’s a series you don’t need to read in order, I still always do! Lol. Hope you enjoy all the new reads!

Glad to hear about the glasses. We’re close to 90s now, too. Not horrible except when the humidity is high. Then ugh!
