It was a sticky week. Whether it was my mood because of the loss of my Aunt or the weather the Royals seemed to fight every two seconds and little Hazel seemed to get into everything. I was crabby, hormonal, and miserable. We’ve had thunderstorms every day between 2 am and 6 am. Nasty stuff, but it hasn’t gotten rid of the humidity something we rarely experience in the midwest. Hoping to chill today and recharge before it all begins again. Stay Caffeinated.

What a miserable week. Hope this one is better. We also had thunderstorms, but I really love them. Also, we don’t have much humidity, so I guess that makes it better.
Katherine
Sounds like a draining exhausting week. I hope this week is going much smoother and you’ve been able to get a bit of a break. Heat, small children and loss is a tough combination.
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Oh goodness, that sounds like a genuinely trying week. I hope this week is so much better. Enjoy the holiday!
S. J. Pajonas
Sending hugs! Sounds like it was a rough week. We were gone on vacation yet I heard about all the storms at home in the US while I was in Europe! Crazy times.
MarthaE
I am fairly sure I would not have energy to watch little ones for any length of time.
And the heat makes it more difficult.
I hope this week is better for you.
Happy Reading!

Sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope the weather improves. Not fun having bad storms- especially when they don’t take the humidity away. Hope the weather improves and everyone’s mood with it. 🙂
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
It’s been crazy humid here too (I’m in the Chicago area). I swore the other night when I left work that it felt like being in a fish tank – and it smelled like it too. Ugh!
vidya
hope the weather cools down for you.. it has been a super hot few days for us as well and seems like the forecast is predicting a slight cool down but still hot enough to keep us indoors..
have a great 4th.

It must be a shift for you having the royals all the time instead of just when they are not in school. You still have your own work/business. It’s hot here also so I am going to be more on inside than outside tasks for the next 2 months. Have a great Holiday weekend and relax a bit!

I am sorry for your loss and that you are having a tough time. I hope this week is better for everyone. (((hugs)))

Your week sounds a little like mine. I’m sorry for the loss of your aunt. I lost my last living aunt a few months ago and it’s still very hard.
Meezan
I’ve been feeling about the same, which is not unusual for me in the summer. I can’t stand the heat and humidity and I don’t like thunderstorms. I hope you have a better week. 🙂
Mary Kirkland
I’m so sorry to hear that you had a bad week. Hopefully this week will be better.
SJ
Sorry you haven’t been in a good mood lately. It’s been hot and sticky here too and that can make any one crabby. Hope things get better.

Ugh, we’ve been stuck in a thunderstorm cycle too. Going on week 2 1/2. We had one good day and now the rain & mugginess has returned. I hope it lets up for you soon.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
I need to read your review of Brewbies! Ugh to this weather. We haven’t had the rain so much, although the weatherman keeps saying it might rain! And then we get none. I’m ready for fall. Hope July starts off better for you.

Hot and sticky but not sweet here. Ugh. I’m all out of sorts because I hate humidity and I hate my husband’s new schedule. For more reasons than that I hope he gets the job at Toyota. I hope you have a better week, Kim. {{{hugs}}}

I hope this is a better week. Maybe a good book or two can ‘take you away’. 🙂

Sounds like a struggling week and hope you are able to renew and recharge this week. Hope you end up enjoying the 4th with your family!
Jennifer | Book Den
Hot and humid is just not a good mix. I hope you have a better week this week!
Sophia Rose
The heat and sticky air frays my temper too. Hope this week and the 4th are a little better for you. 🙂
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Yeah we had a windy storm Friday and it knocked our power out. We’re still out and it’s been miserable in the heat without AC! You must be in a magical spot of the Midwest because we always have a lot of humidity where I’m at. It makes it even more unbearable. I’m currently at restaurant soaking up power and AC! Lol!
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

I’m sorry for the loss of your Aunt and for your unpleasant weather. Thunderstorms in the middle of the night are horrid and if you’re like me will wake me up for hours. I hope you have a more relaxing rest of your weekend.
Emma @ Words And Peace
sorry you have had crappy weather. Here in a western suburb of Chicago, we FINALLY got thunderstorms and rain this Saturday – which actually was a very good thing for gardens and fields.
I hope this coming week gets better for you and your family
Jill
Sounds like a lot going on. I hope you get some rest today!
Maree
It’s miserable when the weather affects your mood negatively. I hope you have a better week this week.

Sounds a bit like the week I had. I hope this week is more relaxing for you!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I’m sorry you had a tough time this week. Be gentle on yourself as you go through this time of grief. The heat and humidity are probably affecting the kids’ moods, as well as yours. I hope you get some rest today, and a chance to pamper yourself a little.
Our weather turned hot and humid this week too, and we have had some torrential thunderstorms. I shouldn’t complain, because we were in drought (though you couldn’t tell yet from the vegetation.) Today we had flash flood warnings—quite a change!
Sara
I am truly sorry for the loss of your aunt. I hope that the week ahead will be much better xoxo
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
I’m sorry to hear you had a rough week. Our weather has been the same as yours. Humid with heavy thunderstorms every afternoon. I hope this is a better week for you.
Mark
I’m sorry you had such a horrible week, and I’m really sorry to read about your aunt. Hope this week is much better for you.
Laurel-Rain Snow
Oh, I hate humidity. I hope the upcoming week is better, and enjoy your books.
Greg
It’s been weird here too weather wise, although it’s been mostly due to the wildfire smoke. Very hazy. Some weeks are just ugh. Hope the new one is better. And cool.
