I managed eleven books/audios for the Ho-Ho-Ho readathon. I hope everyone who took part had a wonderful time. For the month of November, I read/listened to 18 books. As of November 30th, I am 186/200 for Goodreads & 109 for the Audiobook Challenge. I am hoping I hit my goals in December. I am still dealing with this head cold funk, and will probably concede and go see the doctor this week. The weather has been downright cold, with lots of wind and snow flurries. My grandson has put in a request for a good snowstorm with the guy in the red suit. He wants to build a snowman. Stay Caffeinated.

I had fun with the HO HO HO readathon and it looks like you did as well, Kimberly. I also have a head cold and have had it for over a month. Whenever I get an autumn cold it takes forever to shake it, hopefully when I get to Florida and sunshine.
Aj @ Read All The Things!
I hope you feel better soon! Great job with the readathon. That’s an impressive amount of books. 🙂
Jen at Introverted Reader
I hope you feel better soon! I would hope for a snowstorm for your grandson but we’ll be traveling. Maybe he can have a micro snowstorm just over his house 😀
vidya
That sounds like a good readathon and hope you feel all better soon.. It has been colder here than normal but with the rains finally here in the bay area, I can’t complain 🙂
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
What a great month of reading. Hope December’s reads are just as great. I’ve enjoyed You Can Hide and I have some of your other books on my list.
Mystica
So many interesting reads here.
MarthaE
I am perfectly happy not to have your cold weather. I think I eyed The Poisoner’s Ring.
I hope you enjoy it. Happy Reading!
Stephanie @ Once Upon a Chapter
The wind has really picked up here too the last few nights. I feel like we got spoiled with such a warm November. We haven’t had a real snow yet but I’m sure its around the corner. I hope this week is kind to you and that cold leaves you alone!
Sophia Rose
Bummer you’re still fighting the crud. Way to go on book totals for the HoHoHoRAT and the GoodReads challenge. I got to 7 of my 8 for the RAT so I was pleased.
Yay for scoring the Kelley Armstrong.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Mary Kirkland
No snow here but I hope this will be another Winter that we get a few inches of the white stuff.
Meezan
I’m looking forward to reading your review of the Debbie Macomber book. I have never read any of her books, but I have at least one on my TBR for next year. Would your grandson mind putting in a request for snow for me as well??? I hope he gets his wish and I hope you feel all better soon! 🙂
Amy @ A Novel Start
Aww bless him! I think the idea of a snowstorm on Christmas makes Christmas sound very cosy, but it’s probably quite dangerous. I’m from England and we don’t get a lot of white Christmases. Even when we have just a little bit of snow people panic and have issues travelling because they’re not used to driving in the snow lol. Thank god there are countries that can show us how to keep the country running if we ever get a white Christmas! xD lol xxx

Where has the time gone.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
11 books is fantastic for the HoHoHo RAT! I hope you get over this head cold soon, so you feel better and can enjoy the winter weather.
I love snow, so I’m sympathetic to your grandson’s wishes, but I hope it holds off until we get to where we are going thiss week. I don’t fancy another cross-country drive like the one we had last January, where the storm basically tracked with us for three days. But I would be happy to have snow for Christmas week!
Have a wonderful week, and enjoy the lead-up to the holidays!
Lorna
I made it to my goal of 150 books but I don’t think I’ll come anywhere close to the 185 books I read last year. Or the over 200 the year before. I think that’s got a lot to do with my old brain! I wish I was kidding! I’m at 155.
Anne - Books of My Heart
You did a lot for HoHoHoRAT. I’ve got to plan in more genre diversity for myself. I managed 7 and then I couldn’t take any more holiday romance and I’d only read 4 that were romance. I really, really hope you get well and feel much better soon.
LORI CASWELL
I am so sorry you are still not feeling well but you have been reading a lot of books. It’s been cold and windy up here and my grand have the same wish as yours. I am fine if it snows Christmas Eve as long as it melts by New Year’s Day. 🙂
Good Luck at the doctor..
Jamie @ The Fantasy Princess
I hope you feel better soon. Hope you get a good snow storm so your grandson can make a snowman! Have a great week!
Wendy
I hope you feel much better soon, Kimberly. Sometimes head colds can linger for such a long time. You’re doing so great with your goals!!
Sherry
I really want to read the Haunting of Maddy Clare! My library doesn’t have it unfortunately. I”ll have to wait for it to go on sale! Have a great week!
A Voracious Reader
I hope the head cold funk exits stage left and quickly. It probably is time to see the doc though. I hope Clayton gets his wish. I’d love a good snow storm here. I haven’t sledded down the drive in a couple of years now. 🙁
Lover of Romance
Wow! I am so happy you were able to get so much read for your readathon! That is fabulous. The cover for the Kelley Armstrong is so interesting, so I hope you end up loving that one there. Snow is always fun to play in, hope you get the amount of snow needed for a snowman.
Jennifer | Book Den
I hope you start feeling better for the holidays!

You have made such great reading progress this year! I’m sure you’ll hit your goals. It was super cold here this week as well. I am not ready for winter.
Sophie
I hope the doctor will sort you out Kimberly and that you’ll get to enjoy your week! Also you are nailing these challenges! I am so impressed!
Jodie
I hope you’ll feel yourself again soon Kimberly. Great work on seeing your 2022 goals met. Have a wonderful week ahead!
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
I’ve got about 15 more books to reach my Goodreads goal as well! I woke up in the middle of the night last night with my throat feeling a little off. I’m hoping I don’t have a cold or anything now. Would like to make it the last two and a half weeks of school before break without having to take any sick days. I would love a snowy Christmas and always open for snow days after Christmas break too. I hate using up snow days before though. But I’ll take them I guess! Have a great week!
Jill
Your grandson and I are on the same page! I can’t wait for a good storm! Hope you feel better.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
I developed my own cold this week as well. It seriously put a cramp in my reading as I pretty much went to bed as soon as I signed off work. I maybe read for an hour or so then the cold meds kicked in and I went to sleep. It’s still lingering and I wish I had a better flu shot as I was not expecting this nightmare.
Nice new read! I love Kelley’s books! Hope you enjoy this one!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
You really slayed the readathon! Or would that be ‘sleighed?’ (Sorry, couldn’t help myself. lol) Ugh, sounds like it’s time for the doctor. Hope it’s not a sinus infection. I low-balled my Goodreads challenge this year so I met my goal a month or so ago. I figured it would take off any pressure. 🙂
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
11 books is good. I hope that your cold soon goes away and that you get some snow. I’m hoping for some here, but the outlook is bleak 🤣
Have a great weekend!
Tessa
186 books! That’s amazing! And a white Christmas does sound like such an idyllic way to spend the holiday. I got to experience that once or twice as a kid. Hope the doc can give you something to help knock out the funk once and for all.
Maureen @ Maureen’s Books
HoHoHo has been great for you. That’s awesome.
And I love that you grandson asked for a white Christmas. 🥰
Have a great week and happy reading.
Laurel-Rain Snow
Again you had an impressive month! I hope you feel better soon, and enjoy December, with a snowman for your grandson.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. Have a great week!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
It didn’t snow, but it’s been raining a bunch here. Still, it’s been cold.
I want that new Kelley Armstrong!
Sorry to hear your head cold is lingering! Hope you feel better!
Kelly Lyn @ Lifestyle of Me
my kids are dreaming of a white christmas too.
Mark
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
Taylor @ Taylor Fenner’s Bookish World
It’s been so cold here, it’s awful. No snow though thankfully. I read 9 books in November and I’m hoping to read at least 7 this month between audiobooks and physical books on my TBR.
Greg
Aw I hope he gets a good snowstorm. We’ve had cold winds and snow too- it’s 26 here now. Brrr…
Hope you feel better soon! 🙂
