For the month of October, I read/listened to 18 books and am currently on 168 of 200 for Goodreads Challenge and 102 of 110 for Audiobook Challenge. No cable and the readathon helped catch me up. As many of you know, I’ve been trailing between 6 and 7 books behind since April. As for my reviews, I caught up this past week and even scheduled posts for January 2023! Have you signed up for the HoHoHo readathon? I am working on challenges now and getting excited. Stay Caffeinated.

Yay for getting caught up on your reading goals! I’m ahead on Goodreads but behind of personal goals. I think I over planned a bit and won’t make that mistake for 2023! I hope you’ve had a great week!
Stephanie
Thank you for the reminder about the Thankful for Books Giveaway Hop November 21-28th. Looking forward to it!
vidya
that is an impressive number!! I am not good at keeping track and while I am not sure about 18 books, if I i count the picture books too, then it is more!!
Mary Kirkland
18 books is great for the month. I made my challenge 100 books for this year and I have just made it this month..
Lorna
18 books in one month is amazing! You know you can change the final amount on your Goodreads challenge easily. Like change to 175. Just a thought.
sjhigbee
That’s an impressive total for October, Kimberly – congratulations. I hope the coming week is a good one for you.
Jinjer
18 books in one month and posts scheduled for 2023! Wow! That is impressive!
Sophia Rose
Way to go catching up on your challenges and reviews. Woohoo on setting posts for 2023 already. October was good for you even with the ups and downs.
Have a great week, Kimberly!
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
Oh, wow! You really did catch up and get ahead! I wish I could say the same! I hope to do some serious reading this week, but we’ll see. As long as the renovations are still ongoing it seems something always needs my help or attention. :/
Sophia @ Bookwyrming Thoughts
January 2023?! That’s amazing (and super exciting). I love it when I’m caught up with reading and reviews.
MarthaE
Nice reading in October. I don’t think I’ve ever had a review ready two months in advance.
Hope you have a wonderful week and Happy Reading!
Alicia
Wow! I wish I could schedule posts that far in advance. A few days in advance is all I can muster, lol.
Vi @Inkvotary
I am still behind with reading and writing reviews *sigh* But looking forward to the HoHoHo Readathon. Happy reading & Happy listening.
Meezan
I need to get better at scheduling posts ahead of time. I did really well with that when I first started my blog a few months ago. I’ll have to take a look at the HoHoHo Read-a-thon. Sounds like fun!! 🙂
Jennifer | Book Den
Oh wow – you are scheduling out for January? That’s amazing!
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
Added the Cloisters to my TBR; sounds interesting.
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys.
Jamie @ The Fantasy Princess
Yay for being caught up and scheduling post for January 2023. I have not signed up for any reading challenges. Have a great week!
Anne - Books of My Heart
You are doing well on your challenges. I like it much better when I am caught up or ahead. I do the empty shells of my next year posts for regulars like the Sunday post, Series on Saturday and the challenge posts like Library Love, and the Read-along. I try to get the post set up whenever I receive an ARC so with everything I just have to fill in the review or the details. I started it when one blogger had a Blog Ahead event in November. I find August is a better blog ahead time for me because it’s too hot to do anything much outside.
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
That’s a great idea and I have templates for my regular posts too, but I don’t always keep up……I’d have to update every day or two and sometimes I remember, others – not so much. 🙂
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Way to go, Kimberly! I’m sure it feels good to have caught up and even gotten ahead.
The Cloisters sounds interesting, if a bit creepy.
Victoria Hamel
Into January? Well done, glad you had a productive week, that always feels good!
Wendy
Wow, you really did catch up! Thanks for the reminder about the readathon. I want to do this one.
Lynn
The HoHoHo Readathon always looks fun to join but I never end up having enough time to actually do so.
Have a great week!
Lover of Romance
I am sorry that you have been behind on your reading challenge, I was behind in April, but since my meds started working, I have been in a reading frenzy haha Hope you find a way to get caught up and meet your goals. I see you got that Lori Foster book, I hope you enjoy that one.
Have a fun reading week!
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Look at you with 2023 posts already scheduled! Wow! I’m actually starting to think about my top 10 posts in December and feeling like I’m getting ahead, lol. Of course I haven’t gotten any of my writing/editing done for NaNoWriMo, so not sure I’m ahead in that round. Have a good week!
S. J. Pajonas
You’ve made great progress on your goals! Yay!
Jodie
Good for you to get caught up on your reviews Kimberly! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

Way to go!! I lowered my GR goal to 50 and I’m *still* not there yet. But I’m close thanks to some monster porn. This year has sucked on so many levels. At least I knocked out 3 of my 12 reviews.
Lola
Sounds like you’re doing well for your reading goals this year, that’s nice the readathon helped, less nice about the cable not working. I hope you’ll have a good week!
Emma @ Words And Peace
Congrats on your amazing catching up. I’m also just 2 books away from my 2022 goal, though my total was much lower than you: 120 counting print and audio together
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Glad you’re getting in better places with your challenges! That’s always good! I finally met my goals last month for the few challenges I signed up in. Already surpassed my Goodreads goal which is good since my last few Fridays I wasn’t able to read at all!
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

Congrats on getting all caught up! Sounds like you had an extra productive week! ♥️

You are doing great with your challenges! I am not participating in the HoHo Readathon this year, we are in the middle of a move and I can’t take anything else on right now. Have a great week!
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Go you for getting caught up! And already having reviews scheduled for January… you are my blogging hero. LOL I really need to set aside a block of time to knock out some reviews.
Sophie
You are acing it Kimberly! Already planning posts for 2023? I confess that I am behind on blogging this week because of a migraine but I hope next week will be different! Have a great Sunday!
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
That’s a great amount of books! I have managed to complete my goal of 97 books. I wasn’t even sure that I would make that! Posts for January 2023 is scary – I can’t believe how fast time goes.
Have a great week ahead!
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
Tessa
I’m so curious about The Cloisters. I’m trying to get my book club to choose it. Sounds like no cable has helped you a lot! So glad you’ve gotten so much read and reviewed. Have a great week!
Mark
Scheduled posts for January? I’m super impressed. I’m scheduled out through my Sunday morning post (which goes live in 3 hours), and I just got that one scheduled. I’ve got more written but not scheduled yet.
Taylor @ Taylor Fenner’s Bookish World
That’s awesome that you’ve read that many books in October and this year overall. I’m only at 75 for the year.
Maureen @ Maureen’s Books
Sounds like you still had a great reading month in October. I’m so curious on how you manage to plan so far ahead.. I’m a big planner but just don’t seem to be able to get ahead more than a week.
OMG.. is it HoHoHo time already? Crazy!! I’m so excited.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
You had a great reading month in October. I’m still debating about the Ho Ho Ho readathan. I want to make sure I have enough time to do it.
Hope you have a great week! Enjoy your books!
Greg
HoHoHo means the holiday season is here! Or close anyway. I love this time of year. 🙂 I’ve ben starting to look at some holday themed books now that spooky time is over. Great job on the reviews!!
