This was a busy week. First, it was my first week of summer vacation with the Royals & Lady Hazel. We played at the pool, the park and on the deck with the splash pool. Next, it was my first week back to work after vacation, so lots to do, from newsletters to tours. On Saturday we watched Clayton play t-ball, I got a pedicure and wrote a zillion reviews and worked a little. I got little reading or listening done this week, mostly because I was falling asleep over my dinner plate. Stay Caffeinated.

Those days where you are falling asleep at the dinner table make the days we can kickback and spend hours reading even more enjoyable!
Emma @ Words And Peace
Tell me, what’s your secret to write zillions reviews? Or even a few at a time, lol
ShootingStarsMag
Sounds like a really busy week. I’d be going to bed super early every night. LOL

I hope this week is a bit more restful for you!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you thought of the upcoming Hollows book. 🙂

I’m glad you enjoyed your week with the Royals!
I’m curious about Witching Whispers.
Wishing you a great reading week

Wow! Your week was packed, wasn’t it? What contrasting book covers on the books you read! That yellow gown is so pretty and her mischievous smile seems to match her personality as described in the synopsis. Happy reading!
MarthaE
This does sound like a full, busy week for you. But fun with the Royals.
Have a good week and Happy Reading this coming week!

Seems we all are very tired lately. Is it just the weather or is it becoming of age? Or both? *lol* Saw Hazel swing on social media. She looked so happy. Enjoy your time.

My grandson is out on school vacation too. I wish our pool was open but it’s been closed for years.

Pool time is always fun…coming off vacation is never fun, LOL. Sorry, you didn’t have much time for reading. I like the cover of Heart Breaker. Have a great week.

Now, you need another vacation to recover from the week after. 🙂 Hopefully, it will settle into a routine and your energy will replentish.
Have a good week, Kimberly!

I hope you will be a bit more caught up this week and can not feel like you’re falling asleep at dinner. I had a bit of that this week either from lack of sleep or accidentally having my audio at 1x speed! It’s going to be around 100 here this week so I feel a big slow down coming.
Lover of Romance
Looks like a fun week you have had The pool is always fun especially with these warmer temps. I miss swimming. Yay for getting those reviews in!!
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
I was finally able to have time to get a pedicure last weekend and within a couple of hours I’d already messed it up. 🙁 I need to get a swimsuit I don’t hate so I can go swimming, I think it’s going to be a hot summer, and so I won’t care as much about hating the way I look in a swimsuit I guess. Have a great week!

The kids will keep you hopping this summer! But it sounds like a lot of fun. (And hopefully your energy levels will adjust.) Enjoy!

My goodness – that is a LOT of busyness! I do hope you also get a chance to put your feet up and relax a bit. Preferably with a book you’re not having to write a review about… Have a more restful week, Kimberly (if possible…)
Sophie
Talk about reading very little because you are tired! I barely read 5 pages in bed before falling asleep this week! But even if you are tired, it seems that you had a great time with the Royals!
Wendy
I’m tired just reading your post, Kimberly! You’re so busy. Your grandchildren keep you busy, but it’s such a wonderful busy. Have a great week.
Mareli Thalwitzer
oh I miss summer and splash pools… I don’t even get to cuddle with a good book in this awful weather. Not a happy camper at all. *Sigh*… It’s almost holidays and then I’ll read to my heart’s content!
Have a good week Kimberly!

I can understand “falling asleep as soon as dinner is done” tired. My May has been like that, but I think things will cool down a bit, soon. Have a good week ahead.
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Sounds like a great summer break! And how nice to get a pedicure. I haven’t have a manicure or pedicure since Covid started and I’m dying for a little pampering.
