I am not going to lie, I saw the synopsis and jumped at that chance to read Cider Brook by Carla Neggers, before realizing I was stepping into book three of the Swift River Valley series. I mean can you blame me, look at that synopsis. Firefighter. Treasure hunter. Rescuer. While this can be read as a standalone, I think I would have enjoyed this more from the beginning. Mini review: Low romance, interesting treasure hunt, small-town magic.
Lovely, Dark and Deep by Susannah Sandlin was a serial that I read over the course of eight weeks, and it was such a thrilling adventure. (Kindle Serials are stories published in episodes, with future episodes delivered at no additional cost.) Sandlin once again showcased her talent as she delved into the romantic suspense genre. Mini review: Intense, action-packed, romantic and engaging.
Treasure Hunter by W.C. Jameson, is a fascinating look at the adventures of a modern day treasure hunter. I have always enjoyed watching and reading about history, conspiracies, mysteries and lost treasure. This book contains all of these elements. This memoir offers a close hand look at the challenges, danger and excitement that treasure hunters face.
