Atticus and Leif journey to the Norse plane of Asgard to face down the hammer-wielding god Thor but first Atticus must steal a golden apple. Darker than its predecessors Hammered shared insight into key characters, epic battles, and death. Hearne once again left me eager for more.
Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs is the tenth novel in the wildly popular Mercy Thompson urban fantasy series. Trouble has a way of finding Mercy and this time she ends up alone and in Europe. From the non-linear timeline to the Doctor Who comments I loved Silence Fallen.
I’ve been listening to the Seven series by Dannika Dark and loving them, so I knew I had to jump right in and begin the Crossbreed series. Keystone is the first novel, and once again I opted to listen to the audio. Nichole Poole narrates and does a stellar job of capturing the characters.
