Room for Two by Sydney Landon is the second novel in the Breakfast in Bed series set in sunny Florida featuring brothers who own the Oceanix Hotel Chain. Landon gives us a sexy, snarky tale with two damaged individuals who ultimately find love. While I had some issues with the characters Landon delivered and I look forward to reading more about the Jackson brothers.thers.
SAY NO MORE by Lillian Hart is the third novel in the Gravediggers series. Hart gives us a suspenseful case with human trafficking, a kick-ass heroine and a hero who needs to grovel.
UNTOUCHABLE by Kresley Cole is the eighth novel in the Immortals After Dark series. I have been devouring them on audio thanks to the stellar narrations of Robert Petkoff. UNTOUCHABLE was filled with frustrations for our couple and the timeline overlapped previous books.
It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover narrated by Oliva Song explored the complexities of loving those who hurt us. This might surprise you, but I always go into Hoover’s stories blind. I never read the blurb, avoid reviews and just experience them. It Ends with Us was heartbreaking and while there is romance this book is more about a serious issue.
I am working my way through series on my TBR pile/Wishlist and finally devoured the Georgina Kincaid series. Grab a cup of cocoa and some Christmas cookies while I share my thoughts on Succubus Heat, Succubus Shadows and Succubus Revealed.
Wickedly Dangerous by Deborah Blake is the first book in the Baba Yaga series and was recently released by Tantor Audio featuring Romy Nordlinger as narrator. A twist on the Baba Yaga lore, Wickedly Dangerous delivers a mystery wrapped in paranormal woo-woo with a side dish of romance.
Set in England 1811, A Wicked Way to Win an Earl by Anna Bradley is the first in the Sutherland Scandals. Strong characters and a house party at the Sutherland estate made this regency romance a delight.
I have come to love Courtney Summers writing from her zombie novels to her newest novel All the Rage, a gritty and realistic look at rape and other events in a small-rural town. A poignant, beautifully written story Summers holds nothing back and once again, her writing left me breathless.
