I love to kick off the holiday season with Debbie Macomber’s holiday novel. This year, Alaskan Holiday was a mix of romance, growth and humor. Grab your hot cocoa and enjoy this sweet, simple story nestled in the remote town of Ponder, Alaska.
Every year I look forward to Debbie Macomber’s holiday book. With all the earmarks of a Hallmark Christmas movie I know she is going to put me in the holiday spirit. From the play on the title to the heartwarming tale within Merry and Bright is this seasons must read holiday romance. Grab some hot cocoa and check out my date with Merry and Bright….
Each year I make it a point to grab Debbie Macomber’s holiday book. It always gets me excited for the holidays and I soon find myself singing carols. This year I chose to listen to the book on audio. Twelves Days of Christmas narrated by Suzanne Elise Freeman shared a delightful romance featuring a blogger and her grumpy neighbor. Grab your earbuds and prepare to be captured by the holiday spirit.
Every holiday I try to read at least one Debbie Macomber holiday themed romance and this year I chose to listen to Dashing Through the Snow: A Christmas Novel narrated by Allyson Ryan. At just under 5 hours, Macomber delivered an interesting read where two strangers share a ride from San Francisco to Seattle. Toss in a case of mistaken identity, a puppy and an overzealous FBI agent and things get downright interesting.
I am not big on religious novels, but Debbie Macomber’s Angelic Intervention series are magical and I enjoy devouring them around the holidays. I have read them all and watched the movie versions on Hallmark Channel more times, than I can count. Mr. Miracle was a wonderful addition to the series and perfect for getting me in the holiday mood. At just under three-hundred pages, it is the perfect book to read by the fire this holiday season.
