I read a review of Dead Cat, Run by Annabelle Lewis and grabbed the kindle version, but later discovered I had won signed paperback copies of the first two books in this series. I’ve been listening to an loving the City Between urban fantasy series and have tried to grab the novellas that pop up. I of course, read this out of order, but appreciated what the tale offered. All the Different Shades of Blue by W.R. Gingell introduces wheelchair-bound merman Marazul. When he hacks into a spell protected cafe everything goes wrong….
I was in the mood for a good thriller and The Couple at Number 9 by Claire Douglas hit the spot. Narrated by Kenton Thomas and Nathalie Buscombe, the story delivers a twisted murder-mystery that will keep you up listening.
