We arrived home late Tuesday into early Wednesday and it was pouring. By the time we got home and got the Royals settled it was almost 3 am by the time I crawled into bed. I spent the rest of the week working, doing laundry and restocking the house. Our vacation was wonderful. I completely unplugged and got to dip my toes in the ocean every day. The Royals start school this week. Sophia will be in middle school and her brother has two more years of elementary school. Hazel doesn’t start kindergarten until the 19th. I imagine this week will be full of adjustments as we fall into a routine again. Stay caffeinated & spread kindness.

Sounds like a wonderful vacation! Especially the unplugging part. Best wishes to the Royals as they start a new school year, and to you and your husband as everyone adjusts to the new schedule.

So glad that you were able to have such a lovely relaxing holiday away! And a bit boggled that your kiddos are already going back to school – I keep forgetting what a gap there is between our school holidays and yours! Oscar has another full month before he starts back:).

Sounds like a nice vacation! I’ll be back to working with middle schoolers this year, so I kind of feel like Sophia starting there since it has been a while for me. But I’m very excited because it is the age level I enjoyed teaching the most and they were the reason I became a librarian, just never got a job at that level till now. Hope you have a good week!

That sounds like a great vacation! Happy reading this week, I’ve read Christine Feehand before.

So glad you enjoyed your vacay! I need to bury my feet in the sand and wade through the surf looking for shells. I miss going to the beach. It’s crazy that school is starting up again this month. My grandkiddos don’t start until the 24th so they’re coming tomorrow to stay until Thursday.
