For the month of April, I read/listened to 15 books. Goodreads Challenge 80/150, Audiobook Challenge 50/150& Library Love 12/12. We have been unseasonably cold. I froze to death at baseball/softball games. This week, Sophia has a cello concert, and both kids have games. Stay caffeinated & spread kindness.

Hahahaha I hope Sohpia’s cello concert is at least inside so there will be one event you don’t freeze to death at.
Veros @ Dark Shelf of Wonders
Unpredictable Magic sounds good, added it to my tbr! Actually same with The Book Club Murders. I liked The Thursday Murder Club and this is reminding me of that a bit.
Sara
It’s been very cold up until lately, I hope the weather improves!
Mary Kirkland
No cold days here. It’s been very hot.
Steph
You are doing great with those challenges!
Anne - Books of My Heart
You’ve done great with challenges. The weather has been all over the place.
Samantha
Its been cold here as well. 2 weeks ago it was well above average. I am not a fan of spring!
Sophia Rose
Yeah, I had to dig out the sweatshirts and flannel again, too. Enjoy the cello concert and ball games this week. Nice haul of new arrivals.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Sounds like you are busy keeping up with the grandchildren! April’s temperatures have been unseasonable, both directions – too hot earlier in the month, and cooler than usual in recent weeks. To be honest, I have been loving the cooler weather. I would happily live where it never got hotter than 75 F in the summer. 60s are just about perfect in my book.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
The weather has been somewhat nice here, but we’re getting rain again. I usually bring a blanket to outside games because you never know. Have a wonderful week, Kimberly!
Olivia
You’ve had a great reading month! I hope your weather warms up soon.
Bree @ Bibliophilebree
Happy May! Hope you have a good week
Melissa - That Library Girl
I still have the heat on in the house and it’s May. I hate that it’s still too cold out to open all the windows and let fresh air in!!!!
Meezan
Have a great week! 🙂
A Voracious Reader
We’ve had cooler weather and even a bit of rain. Yay! Kinda chilly today. I hope your week warms up for those games.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
You had a good reading month in April! It has been cold here too. I’ve got the heat on today and it is May! I don’t remember that in the past. Hope you have a good week!
Sarah @ Brainfluff
Sorry you’re still freezing! It’s been reasonably warm and unseasonably dry this Spring. I hope you get some warm weather soon. We could all do with plenty of sunshine after a long, long winter! Congratulations on your impressive reading stats so far this year, Kimberly:).
Jodie @ That Happy Reader
I hope it warms up for you soon! Have a great week.
Sophie
While you have been freezing to death we had unseasonally warm weather Kimberly!
Cindy's Book Corner
We had snow flurries yesterday morning, I feel your pain. I am so ready for the warm temps to stay awhile. I hope this week is warmer for you all. Have a great week!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Our temps are taking a dip this week and it’s highly unusual as we’re usually near the 90s by now. I’m not complaining! Lol.
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS

We were happy our kids played indoor sports so we didn’t have to experience the cold or the heat. I’m looking forward to reading Yesteryear.

Rain cancelled all our sporting events last week. I am ready for some warm days as baseball and softball starts for 2 more of our grands next weekend.
I hope you have a fabulous week!
