It’s been a week. I am still suffering from my fall. Sitting is still very uncomfortable and requires a pillow with any hard chair. Tylenol, a heating pad, and lying on my stomach relieve some of the pain. Bending and stairs are difficult. We never go out for V-Day. So of course the first time my husband of 38 years makes a reservation I am broken. But I put my big girl panties on and carried a pillow to the restaurant. We had a lovely time and there may have been carrot cake. Stay caffeinated, & spread kindness.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re in pain and not feeling great 🙁 I hope you feel better soon and I’m glad you at least got to enjoy a nice dinner with your husband, pillow and all! I once saw a group of ladies go to lunch at a cafe and they each brought a bag with their own pillow and I thought it was brilliant, in case that helps you feel better 😀
Thanks for hosting!
Mary Kirkland
I’m so sorry you are still hurting. I hope you feel better soon.

I’m so sorry to hear that you are still in so much pain from your fall, Kimberly. You might have cracked something. I’m glad you had a lovely Valentine’s Day Dinner out. So nice that you were surprised with that.
Katherine
Oh yum! I love a good carrot cake. Doesn’t make up for the injuries but it does make it a better time! Hopefully you feel better and have a great week.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
I’m sorry you’re still so sore and uncomfortable. Did you see a doctor? It might be worth an x-ray to make sure you didn’t crack your tailbone. (My mom did that once.) I hope you feel better soon.
Kimberly
No, I didn’t go. It’s been over a week and it’s better than it was, but I don’t think they can do anything for me, even if it is cracked. If it isn’t better next week, I will probably go. Right now I am trying not to sit on it and limiting my activity.
Sophia Rose
Ouch! You have my sympathies. Glad your Valentine’s Outing was so good.
Have a good week, Kimberly!

Melissa - That Library Girl
My daughter hurt her tailbone last year and I bought a tail bone pillow on Amazon and it helped her a ton! It looks like a donut you sit on haha!
Sophie
Oh gosh Kimberly I am sorry that you are still suffering but I fear it will be the case for some weeks yet! It’s good that you could enjoy the restaurant though.
Victoria
I hope this week brings you significant improvement in your pain xoxo.

Glad you found a way to make it work and you had a great time! Perhaps the dinner reservation happened at the perfect time when you needed it the most. 🙂

Oh my gosh, I hope you heal more this week. How awful! A few weeks ago I had a sciatica issue and it was horrible. Trying to figure out how to sit on a broken butt is not easy!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
