I am loving the warmer weather, although I now need to carry around a granny sweater since stores and restaurants keep their air so low…lol. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

I’m a big fan of carrying around of sweaters when it starts warming up. When it is 100 outside but 65 inside its kind of hard to dress for that! Have a great week and happy reading!
Mary Kirkland
Ha, a granny sweater. I bought my first granny sweater this year because I was getting chilly on days my daughter wanted the air on. lol
Jinjer
Ha ha so true about having to carry a granny sweater around with you. It was 102F here yesterday but I’m sure I would’ve needed a sweater had I ventured out to the grocery or to see a movie or whatever.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Happy Mother’s Day!
I know what you mean about needing a sweater. I tend to keep a very lightweight cotton hoodie with me at all times in the summer, for just that reason. (The fabric is like a thin t-shirt, so I don’t roast.) But this week, I needed the hoodie or a cardigan because it has been cool and damp!

We are carrying around cardi’s because it’s cold. Ha! Off to inspect Untangled Cassie Black…

It’s been cold and rainy here the past week. Hoping for some sunshine! Happy Mother’s Day!
Anne- Books of My Heart
I have a collection of granny sweaters as well as flannel shirts I like to wear as toppers. Happy Mother’s Day!
Victoria
We are just starting a week of summer weather in Ilinois and I am very happy! So much sunshine–and low humidity! I hope you have a wonderful week!

Yeah, I carry a light zip up sweatshirt
Jody
It has been beautiful here. It was sunny in the 70s. Happy Mother’s Day, Kimberly. 💐

I’m not a fan of the weather that makes me sweat by just walking outside. But I’m ready for the weather to be either hot or cold instead of the back and forth we’ve had for the past few weeks! Hope you have a nice week!

Looks like we’re having actual Spring here. We’ve been lucky with the renovations in that we’ve had very little rain, but the forecast is showing rain all week now with temps in the 60s then 70s then jumping to 80s for awhile. lol
Sophie
I love the warmer weather too! But we don’t have as much AC as you have in the US so no need for the granny sweater in restaurants, just on the train early in the morninf. LOL
Tammy @ Books, Bones & Buffy
Happy Mother’s Day, enjoy the warm weather:-)
Sophia Rose
I’m not a heat person, but sometimes the extremes between outside weather and a/c can make me feel cold for a bit so that I need a cover up.
Enjoy your Mother’s Day, Kimberly!

Happy Mother’s Day!

I hope you enjoy all of these. Happy Mother’s Day! Have a great week.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Nice! Our weather has been pretty nice as well, but this week it’s moving into the 90s and I am already miserable about this. Especially since it’s hitting this temperature on the one day I plan to go out! Lol.
Nice new reads! Some new to me ones but lots of intriguing looking ones! I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

Hooray for warmer weather… but same I carry a sweater everywhere now too. Most homes in NH/VT don’t have central air though – and my work building is old and we only have window units there as well, so sometimes it is just nice 😁
Happy Mother’s Day!
Jodie
I feel the same way about stores and restaurants overusing the AC. That and the walk in cooler at Costco! Have a great week and Happy Mother’s Day!
Becki
Oh, I hear you on the sweater! I’ve got a big ole zip up hoodie with me now for the same reason. The sun feels great, but the air conditioning knows no medium – they think it’s ‘summer’ already!
Deb Nance at Readerbuzz
I’m glad the weather is warming up there! Happy Mother’s Day!
Lola
That’s a good idea to always take a sweater with you as stores keep their air so low. I have had that issue a few times as well. I’ll have to check out your review for Shadow Weave as I am currently listening to that one. Have a great week!
Jill
Haha granny sweaters for the win!
Lin
We had warmer weather too, but as of yesterday, storms and rain are due and it is all gloomy and cold again…
Lori
This next week looks like it is going to be nice and warm. I hope I can get out and enjoy it.
Have a wonderful week!
Laurel-Rain Snow
We are having warmer weather, too, and my granddaughter cranked my patio umbrella up for me…and briskly cleaned the patio as well. Now I can sit out there in the morning with my coffee.
Enjoy your week.
