It was a wet weather week. Lots of fog, melting & refreezing of roads. The ground is still covered in snow. Sophia turned nine and I am still under the weather. Facebook reminded me in “memories” that I have been sick almost every January for the past ten years. How depressing is that? Stay Caffeinated.

So sorry. Feel better (again) soon!!!!!
Vidya
here is wishing you good health soon.. So many of the books listed today are tempting me to add them to my TBR!!
S. J. Pajonas
Ugh, I’m so sorry you’ve been so sick… and sick every January! It’s unfair, for sure.
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
The refreezing is always bad. Here it’s warming up enough for lots of snow to melt during the day and then freeze overnight. The road was surprisingly slick this morning. Hope you feel better soon.
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Sick every January for 10 years? Ugh. There’s one tradition you could do without. Feel better!
Alicia
I’m always sick off and on in December. I hope you feel better.
Happy Birthday to Sophia
Lisa R. Howeler
I hope you start to feel better soon. I can’t believe you have been sick this long but that was me last year. I got sick at the beginning of the year while my mom was in the hospital and it hung on for almost a month!
BonnieReadsAndWrites
Sorry you are not feeling well! Hope you get better soon!
Meezan
So sorry you’re still sick. I hope this week is better for you. Take care. 🙂
Sophia Rose
Those are definitely not the memories you want to be reminded of. Hope you’re feeling a tad better. Happy birthday, Sophia!
Sophie
I am sorry you are still feeling unwell! At least let’s hope that February will be better for you!
Victoria Hamel
I hope you feel better soon! I’ve got sinus problems this weekend and I’m miserable. Hopefully, this week will be better!
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Happy birthday to Sophia! I hope you start feeling better soon.
The weather has been warmer here than where you are; it got into the mid-70s on Thursday and mid-60s Friday, but it cooled off and was very rainy yesterday — closer to normal for January, but still not as cold as it should be.
I see you have a review of The Tainted Cup coming up. I’ll be reading that soon, so I hope you liked it!
Anne - Books of My Heart
I am so so sorry you have not felt well. I hate being sick so I am an avid hand washer and mask when I go out which has worked. I hope at least you are able to read now.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
Ugh, sounds like January is not your month if you have memories of always being sick. Well it’s almost February, so hopefully that goes away! We had kind of the same weather as you, but most of our snow is melted away now. Looking at temps in the 40s today. And warmer this week.
Jen | Book Den
I’m so sorry you’ve had another sick January 🙁
A Voracious Reader
We also had wet and dreary days this week except we were much warmer. I hate that you’ve been sick practically every January, but it kinda makes sense. The shitty weather keeping people inside tends to bring it on. My dad could set a calendar to his bronchitis bouts every year. Sending {{{posivibes}}} to oust the crud.
Michelle@Because Reading
This weather is just dumb. We haven’t seen the sun in almost a week and a half and this next week doesn’t look good either. I know so many people sick. I am sorry you always catch a bug in Jan!
Lets hope for better weather for both of us!
Feel better, my friend! Sending lots of social distance hugs! 🙂
Have a great week and Happy Reading! xxx
Emma @ Words And Peace
January is almost over, so hopefully your health will be great soon!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
We’ve pretty much have had the same wet foggy weather. Only Monday was truly icy and the rest of the week wasn’t. Which was good. Ice is not something I like to deal with but thankfully by the time I left the house on Saturday, ice was long gone and it was just rain! Lots and lots of rain. Lol. Sorry to hear you’re still under the weather. But wow, almost every January for 10 years?! That’s nuts! I hope you feel better soon so February can be a little more easier for you!
Nice new reads! All totally new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

I’m very sorry that you’re still sick and that this happens to you each January. For me it always started right after Christmas on my vacation and happened several years in a row. I hope you feel better very soon. Take care.
Lillian @ Mom with a Reading Problem
I’m so sorry you’re still sick 😔 Hopefully you’ll feel better this week. It was wet here too, though our temps are a lot warmer than the last week. Hope you have a great week!

Hope you feel better soon. February is right around the corner so maybe that’s a good sign.
Lori
I am sorry you are still sick. The crazy weather doesn’t help. Sending you healing vibes and hugs.
Laura Thomas
It’s been wet here too. And now we have another cold front. I thought the south was supposed to be warm. LOL everyone around me is sick and I’ve had Covid again and the flu. Not a fan of January. I hope you feel better soon, Kimberly.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
We’ve had some wet weather here too. Sorry you’re still sick, Kimberly! I hope you feel better soon! Being sick every January for the last 10 years sucks!
La La in the Library

Depressing? I call this a tradition! You’re right where you should be being sick this time of year.
Seriously, sorry to hear you still aren’t feeling well.

I am currently reading tainted cup i like how different it is from his foundryside series. Also find it interesting that if has levithans and god killers and mutations it a very interesting murder mystery fantasy
